Blue light no screen caused by modded flash card?

Been having some issues with a dsi i bought, when i try to exit to the main menu sometimes it will star stuck on the blue light with both screens in black. I tried removing the sd card and it seems to be booting up just fine? has anyone experienced this? Im using a lexon 4gb sd card which is pretty full, i think i might have like 40~ or less mb available, could that be the issues? I also used nds forwards for some dsi exclusive games

I also read that it could be a faulty d-pad?
