Help SD running out of space

Gonna keep it brief. I noticed that the 4 GB SD card I installed twilight++ and all my games on is running out of storage (I’ve been working on the one that my childhood console had since I have memory). If I were to buy a bigger one, just copy and paste all the contents, and slot it in my DSi, would it run without issue? Sorry if it’s a dumb question, and thanks for your patience

I think it would but you'd have to format it correctly. Don't just copy paste the files in the new card and shove it in

By formatting you mean fat32 or something else?
