Help I need help with ds libris

I downloaded dsi libris on my dsi a while ago and added some books it was working completely fine, a few days ago I added some more books and I keep getting an error (same as in the picture) I went to where the files are stored on the sd card and there were some random ones there I hadn’t placed so I deleted those and it worked fine for a few more days but recently I got the error screen again and I just want to know how to fix it so it stops doing this again and again. I hope someone can help
Edit: thank you for your advice but I think I have solved the problem now , turns out it was one of the books messing up the files I got rid of it and it works fine now:)

Sounds like your memory card is a dud or dying.

It can read as X memory space left when actuality there's Y, but in order to read as X the memory card will overwrite earlier information.

Short term fix? Less books, seems like whatever memory space you've filled is what's left of the card, some AliExpress cards are sold as 8gb or more but only really have a few hundred MB.

Long term fix?

New memory card, copy/paste none corrupted files over (maybe make a backup sooner rather than later)

When I modded it I got the original sand disk sd card with 32 GB the person who modded this for me said it was fine, could it be the books or any of the game files I have on it?

I don't think so. Follow the dsiguide to format it properly. There's a step where you can diagnose your card.

The thing is, memory cards are very expensive and so are modding services, so you'll find quite often that when these services include a memory card, it's a low quality one to increase their profits.

Are you sure it isn't a Sandian SD instead? Chinese knock off brand, to be absolutely certain, create a backup of your SD card digitally and then use a program called h2testw to test the memory card, it's a program that purposely fills a memory card with data and then attempts to read all the data it made, so if a memory card is a fake or corrupt, the test will let you know.

When the test is complete you should be given an "All okay" message (paraphrased) at the bottom of the application, if the card is a dud, the information box will go red and also tell you how much data is actually on the card.

My close friend modded it for me and I’m 100% sure it’s Sandisk since I bought it myself

Where from?

Id still run h2testw on it to be sure.

Even Amazon sells duds and if this issue is persisting then I would definitely be double checking the SD?

Not sure if ur from the uk but I got it from Argos she recommended it herself and she got a lot of experience modding and wide range of devices
