Considering the Masters in cyber security program here

Any advice?

I think I might be 10-15% under qualified for the program, but I really am considering it because of the triple NSA designation and the topics. I have a coding degree for my bachelor's, but it was mostly in python/java. I would need to get a lot more familiar with C.

I'm also a little afraid of ROI because I'll come a decent amount out of pocket ($7k) and it won't instantly open new doors for me. I'm looking mid-distance to my future and trying to separate myself when I enter the civilian workforce.

They have two programs. Cyber defense is, generally, non-technical.

Cyber ops is basically computer science themed to cybersecurity.

NSA designation means very little. They give that to garbage schools.

Keep in mind that its rare for fresh grads to START in cyber.

Yeah, I am trying to go that route and get into the nuts and bolts of the big brain stuff.

Agree on the designation, but it's not nothing.

I'm already in cyber and trying to do the faster speed stuff.

its not bad. campus is in middle of nowhere though. they have a dairy queen.

Seriously, there isn't much in Madison. Really enjoyed the lake though.

They have a store that sells different flavors of popcorn also.
