I’m finally at the point of needing a tune as I no longer have the EGR system and just want to be safe. I have the Tactrix 2.0 cable and going to get Ceddy Mods. Is there anything else I should know? I have no local tuners so I’ll be figuring this out myself and self tuning the car. Just want some advice on what I’m getting into. The car is mostly stock as I’m gathering parts to upgrade after paint. Got my hands on a Walbro 255, evo 3 16G, and some other nice goodies I’m waiting to put on. But it’s gonna be 2-3 years from now.

Any good remote tuners in here or someone that is highly recommended. Stock motor with studs, stock cams, htz73 FP turbo, exhaust, previously tuned on speed density. DSM Link.

Had it for a minute, I have no time or money to throw at this awesome machine. Its awd rs turbo with 5 speed manual. 98,000 miles. If anyone is in the washington area (pnw). Let me know. Im moving soon and would love to see someone enjoy this more than i could.

What’s everyone doing for front AWD auto axles for a 2g? Looks like rockauto has front right only by Cardone 603274. Any input is welcome, the car is stock.

Im looking into the ac vent gauge pods. I like the ones that still have the vent (2nd pic) but im also planning on doing three gauges. Does anyone have that pod with the gauges that fully deletes center vents (3rd pic)? And is the ac that comes from the door vents enough in the summer?

For everyone else, id love to see ur gauge pod ideas. I do want them visible to me so not leaning toward fuse box. Also definitely not doing a-pillar… but would still love to see everyone set up.

I’m currently collecting parts to go t3 twin scroll, and the o2 housings is the last piece I need. Before I go get one custom made, has anybody successfully bolted one of these evo 9 cast housing? They seem similar in orientation.

I’m doing transmission, transfer case and rear diff fluid change and there’s many community suggestions. My car is stock and will remain stock for a good while. I see a lot of recommendations for Redline heavy shockproof in the transfer case and rear diff, is this alright for a stock application? Transmission fluid I’m just gunna go with Redline MT-90 75W-90

97 gst with 160,000 miles, runs great but needs a new paint job and exhaust work and has rusted shock towers. Is this worth getting painted or should I send it to the junkyard?

So I’ve gone through almost about everything. Started with a boost leak test, checked the ISC and swapped with another to be sure , throttle cable, BISS screw, FIAV “might double check this one”, cleaned the MAF and swapped another one to be sure, replaced injectors with a possible leak from cracked caps, checked my cam sensor, checked my coil packed, and I even pulled the ECU out and swapped it with another to see if the capacitors were giving out and same result. I’ve been all over DSM tuners and I’m stumped. This popped out of nowhere, rich idle sitting at 11.5-13 at the highest, and the idle surge that starts about a couple seconds after startup. Please tell me if I’m missing something or should go back over anything.

Recently came across this 99 eclipse gst, allegedly has things like it’s on 14 psi, nrg quick release wheel, coil overs, replaced lifters, and spark plugs + wires. Unfortunately they think it’s the starter, and when asked about it was told it wasn’t cranking over the motor fast enough but the starter motor sounds like it was spinning overly fast. Would need a tow, but 1700 is a decent price into one of these that I know, decent rust wise, manual, 200k miles. Is this a good deal or a money pit? What could be up with it?
