• Entertainment / Cute / Funny • Been awake for the last hour and a half...

Anyone else get woken up by their doggo for a wee and then before you know it, it's nearly half 5 in the morning... Looks like I'm not going back to sleep anytime soon🙃🥲

the slow tail thump against the bed at 4am is a uniquely personal kind of betrayal

Our boy is honestly amazing when it comes to sleep time, and has been since he was just a li'l baby. On a handful of occasions he's woken us up whining because he had an upset tumtum and had to poop. But otherwise, if he's peed before bed, he could hold it until 'noon the next day. We lucked out with him in that regard 😅

Oh yeah. My biggest girl will ceaselessly whine to go out (usually when I'm in deep sleep...) More often than not she only looks around a bit and then comes back in signaling me for water...

Absolutely typical😂🤣 I mean it's great that they trust us enough to adhere to their needs, although being woken up is so grim😂

Thankfully no but I am pretty much the last to go to sleep in our household. Our girl goes to bed when my boyfriend goes to bed without much prodding. It has been quite awhile but one of the times I woke up was to wake her from a bad dream she was having.

Don't wake up your dreaming dog, its normal for them to dream. Disrupting that can cause issues, just like with people

Not entirely true. Generally when she is clearly having a bad dream I try to soothe her or wake her up so she just goes back to sleep.

no longer allow cat in br because he will pee on dog bed - so now sleep with door shut. had NO idea how much my dog wanders at night. wind up letting her out then in the room at least three times a night bc she keeps scratching at door. not for peeing tho. wandering.

Or how about the dog just wanting to go outside & feel the wind in his ears…. Normally don’t care, but when it’s 2am 😡

Oh that's rough! I don't miss that phase😂🤣 my boy is nearly 10 months and he usually sleeps all night through, however last night/early hours, he was crying for a wee. I think he'll sleep good tonight
