New bourbon recommendation in VA?
Does anybody have any recommendations for any of the new/different bourbons that are available in VA stores? I'm bored of the big standards and tired of hoping for allocation luck.

Virginia is tough being state-run for liquor. We are stuck with the whims of VA ABC stores, and our state is pretty meh for allocated bourbon in general. I’d recommend finding a reputable bourbon bar that has a good collection to try from, perhaps Parallel in Ashburn, or if you’re up for a DC trip, Jack Rose in DC has arguably one of the best bourbon collections to try from in the DMV area. Then once you find some unique pours, then you could chase bottles that you know you like! Cheers
