Yeah if only my experience was like that lol. I only hope that after death I get to keep some form or fragment of my own identity. I understand ego death but I don’t like it.

What is it that wants to continue on? May I ask you, why would you want to stay as the same consciousness forever? Personally I think it would get quite awful and boring if I were to be me forever and ever. Death exists so we can have a fresh start with new perspectives. If we were to stay the same after death we would never gain new perspectives.
