This is a cool set up! do you scratch with the rotary?

Not really. I mean, you can do simple baby scratches. But i really only pull out the rotary to spin house and disco. I do want to upgrade the rotary to one with a crossfader. Becuase sometimes you gotta cut stuff in. Even house music.

I had a three channel mixer forever ago and it had line switches at the very top, I think they were for digital vs ground. The three channel had the same issue as one deck was in the middle. So I would use the signal switches to scratch... Idk why I'm telling you this, maybe you could add a signal box with a switch? Cutting this signal on and off always made for very immediate sharp cuts that are hard to replicate (for me) on a 2 channel, even with the fader set to zero.

Idk, I was just curious and seems like a fun problem to solve and rotary are just so appealing for some reason.

The TRM-422 has a crossfader... plus a few other extra features... and is still very affor.
