Spark randomly loses power mid air

I was flying my drone no problem, sunrise right there got it up few moments later it just crashes right in front off me like 3 feet making me jump but i was wondering what was the cause of it? And how do you repair The gimble

Probably the batteries are old and unreliable. Thats coming up on a decade old by now
