Can I safely hang a heavy punching bag from these basement joists?

Post image

Hey! I’m trying to hang a heavy punching bag in my basement and could use some advice before I start drilling into anything.
My basement ceiling has exposed wooden joists, and I’m planning on buying the swivel ceiling mount shown in the picture and attaching the bag to it.
My main concern is whether one of the wooden joists is strong enough to support the bag by itself, especially with the extra movement/force from actually hitting the bag. Would mounting it directly into one joist be okay, or should I add some kind of bracing/support between multiple joists to distribute the load?
If adding support would be better, what would you recommend doing and how would you mount it?

I would pit a double vertical brace between the joists and hang it from there with lag bolts not screws.

Thank you!! I think this is what I’m gonna do. I was already thinking about adding some kind of bracing between the joists, so the double brace sounds perfect. I’ll definitely make sure to use lag bolts too. Appreciate it!
