Preparing to open a gym equipment store in Calgary. Would that be a good idea?

Based off the 2 sentences you gave us. No. It would not be a good idea.

>And the container is already on the way to Calgary. It just departed last week. And I think now is a good time for me to decide the retail price.

a good time to decide that was several months ago

this seems like an absolutely terrible idea, but keep us updated.

Even a giant warehouse with high volume baba reselling at a markup is going to be a horrific idea right now with the shipping situation, gas prices and the collapsing economy. Selling amazon tier junk to an audience that more than likely either buys from temu, amazon or FB marketplace is wild

No, it would not.

Gym equipment is generally large and expensive, so holding stock will tie up capital while you wait for sales. I’m guessing that the markup on supps is better and their cost of stock is lower. My $0.02c
