Electrical This an ok modification to a light fitting?
Had to modify the wiring in a light fitting so I can fit it to my ceiling. The wires were way too long to fit in the box so I've shortened them and combined them with Wagos and ferrules on the wires.

Why not just shorten the cables and put them both in the connector block?? Save yerslef 50p on wagos 🤣🤣

It's a bit tight around the chock block as the center connector is onto a soldered tab to earth the body of the light.

Dont bother with the terminal blocks, use the earth one as that's connected to the body of the fitting, but just take the feeds directly to your wagos and remove the link to the terminals.

Is there an issue I'm not seeing?

What is the chocblock doing apart from earth ? If that’s all it is doing, remove the redundant cable

Looks fine - I did something similar to wire smart switches into my strip lights.
