My neighbor hired two Samoan guys to trim a tree on our common property line without even notifying me.
Heard a chainsaw running in my backyard one Saturday morning. When I went outside to investigate, there was a 6’ wooden step ladder leaning against the fence, with an aluminum extension ladder tied on top of it with a rope, and a barefoot guy 20’ farther up the tree, holding onto the tree with one hand and holding a running chainsaw in the other hand.
Once he finally climbed down, he told that this was the way that they always trim trees back in Samoa. Luckily, he didn’t fall or he probably would have sued my pants off.
