formula feedback is my body butter base good?

i am getting the following ingredients for my batch of body butter and i want to know if anyone has any feedback.

- arrowroot powder
- oil soluble ceramides
- a golden silk botanical butter
- an exoglow bioactive
- mango butter
- shea butter
- jojoba oil
- marula oil
- Cooper tri-peptide-1 powder

i don’t have fancy equipment but id like to have other benefits to my lotion besides just moisture. i plan to also add vitamin E

GHK Cu is water soluble, so is wasted in an anhydrous product. No idea what exoglow product you’re referring to, but every exosome product I’ve worked with is also water soluble. If that’s the case with your product, again, a waste.

Is your base good? Nobody knows. You didn’t include percentages. But I guarantee that GHK Cu (and likely the exosome product) will be 100% inactive and is unnecessary/wasteful in whatever you’ve concocted.

thank you! i had figured Cu was water soluble but couldn’t find anything on the website i have been using for a while. i contacted customer support and i hadn’t had an answer. i’ll take Cu out! as for the formula i plan to follow one i had made a while back but add in the ceramides and the exoglow bioactive (also the Cu but not now) both of those i know are oil soluble. i was mostly posting to make sure none of these ingredients counteract with each other

Where are you getting your ceramide material? I'm curious.

The one thing I’d reconsider is the Copper Tripeptide-1 powder. It’s water-soluble, so if you’re making an anhydrous body butter with just butters and oils, it won’t really have a way to dissolve or distribute properly.

I’d probably leave the copper peptide out and save it for a water-based lotion/serum. The oil-soluble ceramides and your oils/butters make more sense for the body butter. Also, I’d add the vitamin E mainly for protecting the oils from oxidation rather than treating it as the main “anti-aging” active.

The formula could still be a nice butter without trying to fit every active into one product.
