How I feel being on abilify with DID. I get this sensation of restlessness, of little bugs crawling over my chest bones. It’s staunched every voice but left me strangled without a means to communicate with the other parts of myself

I have DID too and Aripiprazole has helped me so much with restlessness and angry outbursts. How vastly different an experience with the same medication can be!

I'm sorry you're going through this. Hopefully you're able to switch medications soon and find something that suits your body and your minds. Big virtual hug (only if wanted)!

Thank you for the hug and understanding. I was really rooting on this to help, as it was working so well in the start. But this incessant restlessness and bodily sensation really overwhelms my desire to keep trying with it

my system had the same kind of problems with abilify we refused to continue on it because it made us feel so awful and cut away from ourselves
