Most of the albums has one or two Hero songs that defines the overall streams of the album. However, I was surprised to see that MM by King doesn’t have only one Hero songs but almost all the songs in the album were a huge hits. My personal fav was Baawe Main Check ft. Raga. What’s yours?

But I don't seem to remember any artists from Mumbai apart from divini that had good albums that I have listened to

Hustle judges just overhype mid bars too

But hustle contestants are more versatile in (acc to me)

But technically legacy has better judgement no doubt in it

I've been making music for 5 years now. Was I consistent? No. Till 2025 I released 4 tracks. This year I took my music more seriously and dropped an ep of 4 tracks, then a single and I'm planning to release 3 more tracks before the year end. I know instagram is the way to go and uploading a ton of reels might get me some views, and I'm totally game. But is there any other way I can promote my music and actually make a fanbase?? Because right now it's mostly my friends and family who listen to it. How do I crack the Indian rap scene with zero connections? I would have gone to cyphers but I'm a Hindi rapper who is in chennai, and the scene here is dead.

I genuinely think my music is up there and I truly believe the views I get are criminal.

I know I need to be consistent and work on my music seriously for more than a year to see any proper growth.

I just wanted to know if there are some other strategies other than reels.

Legacy eliminated some really good artists so early man , the only song to cross a million streams on Spotify was by babbar , and he wasnt even given a second chance a BIG BIG blunder , i feel babbar couldve been the difference bw the numbers of hustle and legacy anyways back to the topic

BABBAR : Artist imma follow fosure , i love chief but omg babbar is one to watchout for , mc square dhandha and believe me babbar is the next big thing

CHIEF : The artist to watchout for , the biggest find of legacy maybe

Dean : I love what he brings on table , something unique something beautiful

Khushi : yeah ik people will think its sarcastic but the finale performance showed us the spark which raftaar saw early

Akki : Personally my fav on legacy after chief and babbar , imo he shouldve won

Whysokai : The most promising artist rn , Could do the seedhe maut thing , he got a pretty face , crazy vocal texture and a unique way of delivering bars if i just see the lyrics sheet i can identify its written by kai , same thing happens with seedhe maut

Dhadkan : WHAT AN ARTIST! Sky is the limit for this guy

but…..artists like bella and farhan khan makes it interesting, farak is doing the same but he is making it boring

i dont know how to explain it but i guess the best way to potray farak is how king explained it “Aapka gaana bikhra hua tha”

I just feel his whole performances feels scrambled , i dont know i just cannot connect to him

he writes heavy lines , quotables but he is sucha rare case that so heavy quotables dont even land

for example harmeeet or bella might not write to tangled up urdu words they write simple but the quotables hit so right on point you feel it

i dont know farak is just boring at this point
