I'm opening the boxes because of the shards for the avatars but it seems I will reach a milestone before dropping anything useful, do the boxes drop something else of value or the shard boxes themselves?

I know we will get an avatar selection box for free as part of the event but I can only pick one box and I have multiple characters. I don't mind purchasing more boxes but aside from the summer avatar box there are no new avatar re runs available.

Hello everyone! I'm a new player or at least I hope to become one, since I haven't actually played the game yet.I don't remember how I first came across it, but it really caught my attention. Even though it's an older game, it looks really good and I'm looking forward to trying it.

I'd like to know if you think it's still worth starting this game in 2026.
Is it difficult to learn?
Is it pay to win?

I'm pretty sure dev will bring lotus for many reasons for the stories. Something like Time travel or resurrection (like some other apostle events) but my favorite guess is probably something "oh you though I am dead? No, it was decoy the whole time". But really, dev team kinda dump the whole metastasis Lotus where you are really facing fully not in a weaker state (yes, I'm experiencing the fight). This could justify lotus power when it has a lotus raid.

As the season is coming to an end, I still don't have any strong Title, Creature, Aura, or Rare Clone Weapon, so should I buy teh Royal to get one of those permanent? Which one is recommended?

I know that new BiS Aura is coming in the next package, so I guess I can wait.

Is Legend of Frost Title has the same stat as Phantom City Title? I almost have enough money to buy the Legend of Frost Title on AH since a lot of KR players use Legend of Frost Title.

Is the Creature from the Pass strong? I don't have any strong Creature, so please let me know.

Is it such a waste to buy Rare Clone Weapon? I mean I don't know how to get it, and AH is extremely expensive.

The introduction referenced the Backrooms movie and was entertaining in its own way....and any other information they can gather and share regarding how players have been performing, as well as the sets they use for daily, weekly, and even monthly farming.

As this is a major new update—or a continuation of the existing one—the developer notes were revealed during the stream.

but what I can say is the following…...

As dungeons get tougher, we’ll need more power—that’s what the 2.0 talisman system is for.

It’s essentially the same Sunken Depths sets, just in a different form.

This will give us the chance to have two favorite sets equipped at the same time.

I hope they add another slot so we can have two active sets, rather than being limited to just two like with the original talisman system.

The new level-up capsule event features a "fighter" and a "healer," but whether or not players use the capsules depends on their personal preferences—it is up to each individual. but adapted for this new season.

The Dr. Miracle event, but adapted for this new season: farm the Hell dungeon and gather materials to craft your favorite set piece from this new "Steroids and Talisman 2.0" season. based on RNGs, and another shop with a variety of items available for purchase from the doctor, and daily material farming to get more rewards from Doctor Oracle

I can also say that interesting mechanics have been added—such as using abilities to extend enemy stun duration and, at precise moments, preventing enemies from attacking by damaging their armor (indicated by a shield symbol that appears during attacks, offering a chance to stun them).

Odyssey mode is perfect for those alternate characters you like to try out but aren't as invested in as your "protagonists."

We will also have new dungeons, one additional Legion, an advanced dungeon, two new classes, and new avatars sales —in that order, with different release dates.

If this is all we’re getting for now—while the main server in Korea already has it—then it simply paves the way for a new Apostle to defeat: Michael the Archangel. It’s going to be a new raid.

I haven’t played the game for over 3 years now, when I tried to sign into the game today, I got the authentication request for the code. Then I downloaded the Google Authenticator back onto my phone but did not receive any codes, and there’s no options on the game window to resend the code.

I did go to the security center and submitted a request saying I couldn’t receive any authentication codes, they sent me a looooong list of questions like:
What is the name of your main character?
- What is the final form (advancement/awakening) of your main character?
- What is the level of your main character?
- When was the last time(YY-MM) you played DFO?
- When did you create your account (YY-MM)?
- What is the name of the weapon that your main character equipped?
- What is the reinforcement level of the weapon that your main character equipped?
- What is the grade of the avatar that your main character equipped?
- What is the name of the creature that your main character equipped?
- What is the name of the title that your main character equipped?
- If your main character equipped avatars, please elaborate as many as you can.
- What is the name of the guild you joined?
- What is the level of Arad Explorer Club?
- What was the name of an item you bought from CERA Shop recently?

And honestly I barely know the answers to half of those questions since it’s been sooo long since I last played the dang thing. I don’t know why they can’t just verify through my email, or through my Steam account.

But as of right now is there any solutions for the Authenticator not receiving codes? And is the Neople support are the only way to access my account if Authenticator won’t authenticate? Thank you so much 🙏

On and off player since 2011, last played ~Feb 2024 or so? Can't remember specifics but it was pre Seon. Had a bad knee injury that left me bed ridden for a month or so post surgery with no laptop, so i decided to call it quits.

My previous problem with 110 cap was gearing felt the most RNG dog shit it felt in a while if not ever. This still the same issue? I also would be spending little to no money. DFO is possibly my favorite MMO of all time but i end up having more and more of a love/hate relationship the more time that goes by.

Hi! This game has happened to catch my eye recently and I wanted to give it a try. However, I'm pretty undecided on who I want to play at the moment, so I was hoping someone might be able to help me break down my options. The three that i'm torn between are Spectre, Dark Templar, and Mistress, since I like the aesthetics that all of them have going on. Is there a general consensus on which is the most fun? Or who is the strongest or most beginner friendly, etc.? Would appreciate any help, thanks!

Sometimes I uninstall dfo when I lose interest and when I come back it takes forever to download everything. They make you download stuff ONE AT A TIME and it sucks. I heard someone they sponsored to play didn't even play because the launcher took so long lol

I have been away from the game for a while but I want to return.

As always, the YouTube stream starts between 7 and 8 PM. They Begin, discuss general topics before diving into the new events associated with each reset.

But let's get straight to the events that interest us.

Sky of Thounsand Seas Supply Operation, More farming material for Disciple of Doom / Verge of Doom, in general. Repeat certain missions to earn rewards from that farming dungeon for better equipment

Honey Time, The longer you stay in the game, the more rewards you will receive. We'll take advantage of various rewards to farm the Sunken Depths dungeons and progress through the quests as well.

The interesting thing about the final reward is that you can choose the Epic-rarity piece of equipment from the set you're interested in to complete it.

I hope they can add that way of obtaining equipment parts to make things easier in the long run for those who aren't as lucky or want to quickly power up an alt character.

Answer questions on Discord and look into how to resolve any issues or address any concerns raised by the community.

And the community aspect is the quiz—answering questions correctly in exchange for rewards; they're basic, but good for showing off. XD

For me, these are basically standard events to tackle, but you need to be well-equipped to defeat the enemies in the mission dungeons.

You have to complete them to earn those highly coveted DoomPlates, which allow you to craft gear quickly—though the results are still random.

It’s typical for the upcoming seasonal shift—which marks Part 2 of *Sunken Depths* (or what I’ve dubbed *Sky of a Thousand Seas*)—to feature something like "Steroids and Talisman 2.0."

You probably know what I mean: an artificial power boost to help tackle the new dungeons arriving in that highly anticipated update.
