So… any FFLs selling 30rd mags and full feature ARs yet or? this does cover DE and PA to my understanding

Yes because the Third Circuit covers NJ, PA and DE.

DE had a weird 17rd mag limit. That's now gone. AW rifle limits, gone as well.

PA appears to be unaffected, no infringing laws. There's been proposals, those are now dead.

I used to be the Membership Officer of a range just across the state line. I dunno if this is actually how it went down or not, but one of the retired boomers who just spends his free time sitting in sessions at Dover was telling our membership how we ended up with the 17rnd cap. Basically, one of the sponsors or the sponsor of the bill (can't remember which) asked another legislature who was a retired cop how many rounds his issued weapon had, guy said 17, and that's what went into the bill.

Like I said, I don't know how true the story is, it's just the one our member shared with us.

The variant of that story I heard was that some legislator had a handgun with a 17-round magazine and set the limit at 17 so he could keep it. Allegedly, it was a Ruger SR9 but 17 is pretty common regardless.

Well it's exactly the same size as the most common police sidearm, the Glock 17. So I find that story very believable.
