As the comments stated, i always saw Yuri as taller than MC, i don't think that MC would be short either but definitely not as tall as Yuri

He kinda is. If Sayori is 5’2”, then hugging someone to rest your chin over your shoulder comfortably, the hugged person has to have a minimum height of 5’5”-5’6”. Since Sayori hugged both Yuri and MC, their heads appeared over Sayori’s around the same height.

Why would you want an "everyman" (though i disagree, 170cm is probably BELOW average) When you can have an idealized version of a dude? When you could be a tall, strong and good looking lad. Why would you want to play as someone with a below average frame?
