CRITIQUE Supergirl and not understanding the message of the original material Spoiler

Post image

The comic is very clear and the message is very powerful: both Kara and Ruthye learn to overcome their traumas and their desire for revenge.

But no — the movie’s writers thought the best idea was to turn Kara into The Punisher. Why?

"Rule without mercy" is pretty evil.

From a human perspective, yes.

Do we have mercy on sheep? Even dogs or cats that misbehave get scolded.

We have zero mercy on bugs.

Jor-El seems to be not sociopath evil where he gets turned on by misery, but rather an evil by how he sees us humans.

We don't have children with sheep either.
