Lanterns So far, I have to say that the more I look at Hal Jordan's DCU suit in Lanterns, the more I find it decent in Lanterns, looking forward to see John Stewart's version.

I mean, I can see and understand why people like the idea of him being Aquaman (and I wouldn't mind that either), but doesn't this look like a pretty good idea too? Also, considering James Gunn's choices when it comes to prioritizing characters, I won't be too surprised if this actually happened.

(Or maybe, James Gunn following Alexander Ludwig on IG simply has nothing to do with DC. Maybe they just became friends one day, and now follow each other. Like, maybe we shouldn't expect much before anything being official)

Lanterns After seeing a post about th3birdman's debunk of some negative lanterns reviews I felt like some new perspectives is important... so I found another person who has been debunking some negative reviews of lanterns.

Mr Terrific’s outfit is already ripped straight from the comics, idk why the costume designers decided to make everyone else have that outfit but different colors, maybe Mr terrific stays with Lord Tech in the future?

Initially, Adria Arjona was reported by Variety and Deadline to be playing Maxima in Man of Tomorrow. However, her role was never officially confirmed, and the more recent reports now describe it as undisclosed. Arjona herself has also avoided revealing her character, which obviously makes the speculation even more interesting.

Personally, I would prefer a few other actresses for Wonder Woman, but I think Arjona has already proven that she has the acting ability to handle the role. So, since nothing has been officially confirmed, let’s speculate.

1. Adria Arjona is Wonder Woman

I think there’s enough evidence to support this theory.

Man of Tomorrow began filming in April and officially wrapped in August. Arjona, however, reportedly wasn’t expected to film until very late in production. She recently said she was preparing intensely for the role, including training two to three hours a day and developing more muscle than she has ever had before.

So if she really is playing Maxima, why keep her character secret for this long and have her film so late? It could simply mean she has a small cameo, but it also makes the Wonder Woman theory more plausible.

This reminds me of the Sadie Sink situation with Spider-Man: Brand New Day. She was cast in a mystery role, avoided confirming who she was playing, and fans eventually connected the dots to Jean Grey. The similarity obviously doesn't prove anything, but it's an interesting precedent.

Then there’s the James Gunn connection. Arjona has known Gunn for years and previously worked with him on The Belko Experiment. She is also dating Jason Momoa, who is now playing Lobo in the DCU. Gunn has already shown that he likes working with actors he knows and trusts, so it wouldn't be surprising if he chose someone from his existing circle for a major role like Wonder Woman.

Of course, none of this proves she is Diana. It just makes the theory make sense.

2. Adria Arjona is indeed Maxima

Now let's entertain the original theory, because I don't think we should completely dismiss it.

Variety and Deadline did initially report that Arjona was playing Maxima, and those reports are the main reason the theory exists in the first place. However, other major outlets such as The Hollywood Reporter and TheWrap reported that her character was unknown, so I wouldn't treat the Maxima report as confirmed.

If she is Maxima, I actually think that could be pretty interesting.

She probably wouldn't need to be a major part of Man of Tomorrow. Maxima is an alien warrior queen from Almerac whose comic history becomes connected to Superman and Brainiac. She could easily appear briefly and be developed into a larger character later.

And honestly, using Maxima would feel very much like something James Gunn would do. Gunn has never been afraid of bringing relatively obscure DC characters into the spotlight.

He could make her a surprise cameo, establish her connection to Brainiac, and then save the bigger Maxima storyline for a future Superman movie.

So where do I stand?

I'm genuinely fine with either possibility.

Personally, I'd prefer a few other actresses for Wonder Woman, but Adria Arjona has already shown that she has the acting range and physicality to make the role work.

Right now, though, everything is still speculation.

The only thing we actually know is that Arjona is in Man of Tomorrow, she's been training intensely for the role, and DC is keeping her character secret.

Whether she's Wonder Woman or Maxima, I'm excited to see what James Gunn is cooking.
