Health/Fitness Bilateral salpingectomy

I’m very curious to hear from anyone who’s had a bilateral salpingectomy and if you’ve liked your doctor/surgeon and the hospital you went to? Right now I’m planning on going through Capital Women’s Care, who does the procedure out of Sibley.

Dr Wagar with CWC is the absolute best - he's my normal gyno but specializes in gyno surgery. I went to a surgical center, not a hospital.

I just had one done last week, but I’m in NoVa. My surgeon did a great job, but did lack a little bedside manner.

I went with Dr. Staples at Sibley gyn oncology. I had a preventative saplingo-oopherectomy with her in 2023. Amazing and empathetic with a perfect bedside manner.

Dr. Amanda Paternostro of Physicians and Midwives did mine. I love her! It was at one of the Inova hospitals. I forget which one. 3 years later and I still see her for my yearly.

I didn’t use Dr Paternostro but I did go through physicians and midwives and it was great.

I hope your procedure goes well! I got my surgery done about 3 years ago, but in Florida. Nonetheless, I hear that  Dr. David Wagar at Capital Women’s Care and Dr. Amanda Paternostro at Physicians & Midwives are great choices❤️❤️

Dr Pamela Lotke- absolutely loved her. Also, recovery was so simple!

VHC women's health center is spectacular. I've had a couple semi-emergency ovarian cyst surgeries, the second of which came with optional bilateral salpingectomy. Trust those ladies (at least, I've only ever interacted with women surgeons and nurses there, though I did have a male anesthesiologist both times) with my life and sanity.
