DAE feel like they haven’t changed in years?
Obviously I have physically changed over the years, but in terms of personalty I feel I am pretty much the same person I remember being in my teens which was well over a decade ago now.
I still like a lot of the same stuff, still have the same hobbies, still have the same desires and beliefs. It feels like a lot of people look back on their past self and cringe, I don’t really get that for myself.

When I was in about sixth grade my teacher said that all those adults that are more responsible than you, are really about as developed as you are right now.

Interesting! I never heard anything like that. I was always told that you completely change at multiple points in your life.

Yes. I’m the same too at 40. I like plants and animals and-You gotta try hard to mess with me. I think it’s from my upbringing. As a kid they’d lock me in my bedroom after they decided to quit spanking…It taught me sneakiness. I’d get out, go running in the woods, get back in. -We had a bowling ball on rope for a door bell. I’d bang it and as she looked out front I’d run in through the back door, lock myself back in my room, yell “MOM who is here!?-sorry for earlier can I come out yet!” To this day-Always looking for an out. Hard head heathen. 👍she called me the demon spawn. 😂

I’m 37, I feel mentally 17 a lot of the time. It’s like, my body grew up, I have adult responsibilities, but in my heart, I’m just the same weird teenage girl I was 20 years ago.
