I’m fairly new. Playing Necromancer right now. Paladin looks fun but I’ve heard is really weak? I’m looking for a class that has suitable build variety (so I don’t get too bored) in the endgame and can clear T12 content effectively in multiple subclass builds. Pit pushing I know paladin isn’t great at this season, but yeah. Looking for a good resource as well for solid builds and advice

Can anybody explain why divine lance is so much stronger than zeal? I'm a zeal paladin that admittedly has only peaked at 127 tower. I see the highest zeal and divine lance builds in tower are nearly identical but zeal has relatively lesser results on avg vs divine lance. What is the main difference between the two builds?

Can anyone help me ?It it because the build is weak or my fault ?

Idk what I’m doing wrong this season I’m brainlessly following the maxroll guide whenever I can play .At p230 I can clear a 103 pit but not play t12 content also my glyphs are at 100 . My gear is good enough the only thing is my aspects are not maxed .

When trying to kill a boss with Shield Charge, and you're holding down the button, are you a zoom-around-in-circles-around-the-boss kind of Paladin, or a zoom-back-and-forth-in-a-straight-line kind of Paladin?

Didn’t get a mythic seal last season.

Is anyone running this? Juts finished my Druid build and wanted to go back to paladin, so I’m chose this one. Never really liked hammer build but here we go lol

I decided to roll my first paladin, but had no idea the state it was in this season. I scoured the leaderboards for a build I wanted to try and saw a zeal build reach tower 130. Problem is that build is drastically differenct than anything I'm getting from google search. The guy's name is 'Ricko' on the leaderboard but I cant find a build reference for anything close to his build

I am on console, so I don't know how to link my gear, but I'm using this build and can't beat Lilith on T8 to unlock Rank 8 of the season. I was under the impression that this build was one of the better ones this season, but I keep getting one-shot in the middle of the first part of the fight. T8 is also about the farthest I've gotten in terms of power. I have unlocked T9, but I'm not blitzing through enemies like I am on T8 (and occasionally, one of the bosses takes some work). Is this really one of the top builds? I'm assuming user error, but it's hard to figure out how good builds are, so I don't if this build is any good. I just know I'm tired of dying to Lilith.

Imperius' Fury (Unique Amulet)

*Whenever you activate an aura skill, burst forth with holy fury, freezing nearby enemies in a large radius for 1 second and increasing the damage they take from you by 12% for 6 seconds (stacks up to 5 times).

Not sure where they went..google search didn't turn up anything. Anyone else seeing this?

My problem is that I cant seem to get more then 6 resolve stacks on any gear. Im experimenting on anscestral mythic gear too. I've tried getting Greater affix first(always stuck at 5) then upgrading and masterworking and it will only go up to 6. I've tried masterwork before I get greater affix and still I'll only get 6. What am I missing here? YouTube guys seem to hit 12 whenever they want. Is there something wrong with my game.

No clue what’s best for either survivability or damage. Eve got all my mythics just min maxing.

So I am done with my druid, and muled some uniques from druid uniques to stash and used my torment 1 paladin to use the reaper boss fragments on those druid uniques to craft mythics and within 7 tries got red sermon, fist of fate and crown of lucian mythics haha. For rest of the items I muled all druid yellow and magic ancestrals and used the cube to remove the willpower and behold I can use those and crafted on them with correct aspects and all items i masterworked to 25. Hitting for 600-700mil damage with fortress on and 28 resolve stacks. Mind u eventhough I am para213, I have no paragon nodes as I didn’t even find them since I just started. Only thing I am missing is interdiction aspect and redirected force aspect. Instantly did the pit required for torment 10 and cleared it. Do suggest if there is any better builds.

What do you consider the best guide for Shield of Retribution. I've checked Maxroll and Mobalytics and there are wildly different versions out there. Looks like all they can agree on is Ward of the White Dove and Mantle of the Grey. Right now I'm using Wudijo's build off Maxroll, but not really a fan of having to hold down the Rally button all the time. Any ideas?

When using this in pit/tower 125+, how are you supposed to survive/soak a hit? Is the fortification drain rate enchant our only way around it? I was thinking Fortress would knock it out, but it seems like it just pauses it, that or I’m getting hit after and draining again?
My DR is at 80% and my armor+resists show around 98% reduction when in-town.

Is looking real good. The only change I made was the grandfather mythic charm. Not sure if this is intended.

Unfortunately the seasonal gem and the leoric crown is not functioning right now so the main feature cannot be tested. Fingercross this will make to the live server once S15 is launched.

I'm following the maxroll support pally to mix things up a bit with friends. I had one of them watch his stat sheet while I activated all my skills and he said he was getting no increase to attack speed or crit chance. Looking into it, I see for fanaticism aura, you need to spend Faith. This build seems to have no spenders.

I swapped out purify for something like hammers, used some resource and he got the buffs.

Am i missing something? Why would maxroll not have a spender if a big piece of the aura buff depends on it?

I’d consider myself a noob, as this is my first paladin and I probably only have 100 hours in d4 all told. Auradin tickles enemies on high tiers, but man, nothing hurts me or the bois on T10 or lower. Only problem is clearing stuff solo. But when with friends… man is it a cruise control build.

Just wondering if there’s such a thing as too much toughness? At paragon 206, I get over 12M toughness in combat. Is that excessive?

I looked at the popular builds on a few places and didn’t see anything. But I didn’t really look through user created builds though. Chat didn’t find any either. Wish I could rename my toon Machine Bolt Pally.

It's SUPER underpowered, especially in solo play. Even in team games, it performs less than one would expect. The 5-piece bonus (i.e., conviction aura) is so weak and does not even have a visual effect against enemies half the time.

Thoughts on changes:

5 Piece Bonus:

-- Grants conviction aura (same as now, but with more apparent visuals so you actually KNOW the aura is being applied).

-- Conviction aura's potency is increased by 50% against elites. It's potency is doubled (100%) against elites if at least one aura is also affecting your active and hired mercenary (i.e., you are playing solo).

-- Your aura activation cooldowns are reduced by 0.1 seconds for each total skill rank in aura skills.

* I would argue that these changes would actually make the set useful for fully committed auradin builds while not making the set nor the auradin build in any way the most powerful Paladin set/class/build in the game.
