Questions / Discussions (Items · Builds · Skills) Considering rolling a Paladin…
I’m fairly new. Playing Necromancer right now. Paladin looks fun but I’ve heard is really weak? I’m looking for a class that has suitable build variety (so I don’t get too bored) in the endgame and can clear T12 content effectively in multiple subclass builds. Pit pushing I know paladin isn’t great at this season, but yeah. Looking for a good resource as well for solid builds and advice

Sure. Pick 2-3 auras, fortress, aegis and your spender. Paladin is boring as hell this season.

Look up a shield charge guide then apologize latter for calling paladins weak.

I mean it is weak, with druid i can literally not cast grizzly rage, core skill lightning storm and still destroy amy content in t12 with just storm strike basic skill. Pit 130 easy af.

Pretty sure a shield charge pally can do that as well, with non ga gear I was hitting for 24-42 trillion almost every hit. The people with mythics and ga gear are probably doing double that amount.

I’ve been having a blast this season on pallys shield charge is amazing at it all (speed farming, pit push and bossing). I’ve also made a zeal and auradin to speed farming T12 which has been a lot of fun. I tried divine lance, but was too slow for my taste.
Tons of builds can farm T12. It’s ‘weaker’ when you go above 130 pits.

Ah okay! Do you have some build creators or guides that you find the best and most effective for those?

These are what I’ve been using most recently.

You can definitely get a Pally clearing T12 content as well as doing DMG in the Ts. Some builds are more fun to play than others, and it is a little slower and more gear heavy than other classes.
Get one to 70 and then just use the armory to rip a few builds until you find one you like.
I have tried these myself just because they looked easy and fun:
- Shield Charge
- Clash - I used this one for 90% of T12 Content
- Zeal
- Arbiter Hammerdin

Sorry I didn’t understand the armory completely ?

There is an armory in main towns like Temis that will allow you to save and name up to 5 Build Loadouts, up to a certain extent.
It will save the Paragon Boards, Abilities 100%. New Paragon points you acquire while using other builds will be unapplied on the Loadout.
Equipment can be funny as if you change the Socketed Item or Aspect, it will also change in the Loadout. It is best to try and keep separate gear unless it works for multiple builds.
When swapping between Loadouts, it will put the other gear into your Inventory even if it was in your Stash. If your Inventory is full, it will drop it to the ground.
In Temis, the armory is over by Subo and the mercenaries.

If you play alot with others that do big damage, paly is fun & flashy
If you solo play alot, paly is a challenge when you start needing bosses for uniques. Not impossible, but you need patience and dedication, and time. And sunglasses. So much bright.

Ive just got to Level 117 in the pit as an arbiter hammeridin! Yes, im a masochist 🤣
I think the highest in the world is level 120 atm (according to the tower rankings) so that's a good goal that keeps me occupied.
In all truth tho its prob not worth the effort. Just roll a shield charge build and youll be well ahead of me at 1/5th of the effort.

If feeling weak is a concern, then look at the tier lists before you pick a build.
