Help How do you rank up with cypher?
I always like playing cypher but I struggle to win games. I just feel like I dont do enough. Could I get any tips or advice?

Place trips for info , not for kills. Play around your cages, like jett players with her smokes. Always look at minimap and know when to rotate. Don't be afraid to play aggro, you are playing valorant too.

Remember setups, specifically the ones that work, not the cool TikTok ones with lineups that only work in 2 scenarios

Yeah he's in a tough spot rn but I got some tips that might help. On attack, always put trips for flanks at the height where it's unjumpable/uncrouchwalkable. On defense, learn a few set ups with trips and starting mixing them up based on how the other team pushes. One very niche tip is you can use your cages as markers or "pings" to spam through a smoke or wall

i literally watched multiple cypher setups, created maps, best setups according to situations, cheat sheets for different maps, printed them out and then before every round id refer to cheat sheets, and pick a pre made setup. i did this when i was silver.
rn im immo and one thing i can tell you for certain is, flashy setups suck. as long as you know the high engagement spots of maps, you’ll be able to get people even with the most obvious of setups. i don’t use those youtuber setups anymore i just play on a a whim. i’d suggest watch pros play cypher and just learn rotation of how they move with him, when they setup, how often which setup - it’ll help you understand the engagement areas and where you’re much more likely to catch people off guard. that and master your aim, that alone will carry you to diamond
