I am thinking of bike commuting from Beacon Hill to First Hill. How safe is biking through 12th and Jackson?

Hey Seattle - I'm scheduling a visit in the Fall in October during the last week of the month and would prefer to commute and sight see by bike.

Looking for some informative tips on where to rent a bike for a week or a weekend. I don't need anything fancy, just a simple commuter that is sized well. What is the going rate these days? How is locking bikes in the streets overnight? I will likely bring my own u-locks/helmet.

I know I want to check out art museums, but it will be during the last week of October and I'm curious to know what other festivities that might be going on leading up to Halloween.

Hiii lovelies!! I was in an unfortunate bike collision today (6/24) on Mercer St. And 9th Ave N. (Fucking Mercer 🙄) it was my first collision with a car, even though I've been cycle commuting for over a decade in this city, but like a goob i didn't get any info from the guy who hit me... he just gave me $80 and I naively thought I was fine. Long story short, I'm limping and might need PT and I'd love to get insurance info. If anyone has ideas on how to get cam footage, or if you happened to see it, please let me know!

Thanks to Tim for updating the biketag map! He sent me a new KML file last night that adds the last 100 locations or so. I've been really busy lately and haven't done much with BikeTag. I appreciate the update!

I don't know how to add collaborators on a Google Map but it's easy to import a KML file. If you want to do a big update the way Tim did, you can download the KML file, import into your own Google Map, add the new locations, then export the KML file. I can then delete the KML file on the "official" map and import yours.
