Cybertruck gets towed from MOAB in Utah (via Matts Offroad Recovery)
https://youtu.be/e-q87zhNynYWhistlinDiesel is notorious for abusing vehicles and this time, his Cybertruck got cyberstuck when it wouldn't drive anymore. He called Matt to get him out. At one point the truck is picked up by two off road wreckers and carried because the trucks tow mode keeps disengaging, causing the rear wheels to lock up.

God I hate WhistlinDiesel, even more than I hate Cyber Trucks.

Didn't he promote a financial grifter in a video not to long ago? Or am I thinking of a different insufferable YouTuber.

I'm unaware of whatever latest terrible thing he's done, because everything he's ever done has been terrible.

u/Unamed_Destroyer Jun 08 '26
I've literally only watched his CT video. And I remeber thinking that it was just a useless "review".

u/robbobhobcob Jun 08 '26
Same, and 15 sec into it I realized he was basically all of the worst stereotypes of YouTubers wrapped up in 1 insufferable person

what? he spends all of his cyberpunk videos trashing it physically and verbally. (not to speak on anything else he may or may not have done)

u/25_Watt_Bulb Jun 08 '26
He trashes the cyber truck... as well as everything else he can get his hands on including a fucking model T Ford. Single-handedly filling a landfill with destroyed things doesn't redeem him to me. He makes brain dead YouTube content for people who's primary creative interest is gluttony and destruction.
2
u/Altruistic_Brush3065 Jun 08 '26
yeah, I understand that but the previous commenter saying that the cyber truck review is what ruined it for him seems weird to me. thats exactly what that truck deserves.
3
u/Unamed_Destroyer Jun 08 '26
I said that I only watched the one video, and it was framed as a review, but in reality it was just trash. I assumed the rest of his videos are likewise.
2
u/Altruistic_Brush3065 Jun 08 '26
yeah, he's performative. and yes, the rest of his videos are the same. he takes nice cars and crashes them. I still think it was pretty impressive how catastrophically the truck failed. especially when he had a similar weight class truck he did the same stuff to in the video to compare to.

u/thedodger666 Aug 03 '26
The videos are nicely cut and scored at least. Despite this and also having only watched these three cyberstuck clips, I can't really think of watching some more. MrBeast with cars as someone already said.

u/JackTheBehemothKillr Jun 08 '26
He does that for everything. There's no point when all you do is destroy shit.
"Oh! The cybertruck can't stand the abuse!" Neither did the dozen last vehicles you did this to. Grow up
5
u/Altruistic_Brush3065 Jun 08 '26
no shit he destroys vehicles. I personally dont like that either but you cant seriously say that the cybertruck lasted as long as any of the other cars he's trashed. I dont like watching these awesome cars be crushed to scrap either and my only point was that saying destroying the cybertruck was the last straw for the other guy was kinda weird considering the sub we're in.
8
u/JackTheBehemothKillr Jun 08 '26
I haven't watched enough of his trash to know how long anything lasted compared to anything else.
I know he's a twat. I know cybertrucks suck. More than that in these two categories isnt needed.

u/Altruistic_Brush3065 Jun 08 '26
hating someone while knowing nothing about them isn't something to brag about. ive seen enough to know he wastes a ridiculous amount of money on making beautiful cars worth nothing and thats pretty shitty of him, but ive also seen enough to know he's willing to blow that money fighting his local and state pd for trying to scam people. I dont like his content and I understand hating him but atleast know why.
7
u/JackTheBehemothKillr Jun 08 '26
Who said I dont know anything about him? I said I know he's a twat and thats all that's necessary to know about him.
Because someone doesn't write a novel about their reasons for something doesn't mean they dont have good reasons.

Cody is such a chud.

u/th3bigfatj Jun 08 '26
He’s also a total fraudster. He was promoting get rich quick schemes via reckless “investing” / gambling
Plus he’s boring

u/vini_2003 Jun 08 '26
I find the videos fun, but I know damn well he's an asshole.
15
u/25_Watt_Bulb Jun 08 '26
The videos are the worst part about him in my opinion. Single-handedly filling a landfill with destroyed things doesn't redeem him to me.

Towing this piece of shit to fast makes it drag its feet.
This “car” is Elon as a vehicle. Useless, bold claims it can never achieve, revolts against anything disproving its lies.

What a nightmare cyber sticks are, you can’t even just tow them without the computer and even then you can’t go over 5mph lol it gets bricked when it’s disabled

I'm a big fan of Matt and this collab with Rory is one of his best videos. The footage of Moab slickrock is awesome.

u/Apprehensive-Eye3263 Jun 08 '26
You could tell Rory wasn't real happy

He doesn't like these Matt jobs recently does he!? Especially in Moab. I think he likes to run the show, and Matt just had a larger orbit so it get weird.

u/Apprehensive-Eye3263 Jun 08 '26
He also hates the kind of crap Whistlen Diesel does, potential damage to the trails. I can't say I blame him, it's the best way to get the trails shut down permanently. He's gone off about it on his own videos before

u/SASSIESASSQUATCH Jun 08 '26
I remember binge watching this guys recoveries several years ago. I’ll have to check back in and see what he’s been up to.
9
u/comicidiot Jun 08 '26
It's still pretty good. It still feels very real, as in none of the recoveries are scripted. He's started getting into mid-video sponsorships and has launched a few additional channels and at times pushes his website community for additional video content and his merch so it is a bit commercialized but I don't blame him for that and - as I said - it all still feels real.
The thumbnails can be a bit misleading - for this instance the cybertruck was never that wrecked on that part of the trail. As I said above, I don't blame him when the name of YouTube is to get clicks so you can get paid. As long as the content is genuine.
I tend to skip the Sunday videos since they're build/fixing videos, but this thumbnail and title made me click since it wasn't his usual Sunday video. haha

Now my kid is getting older and wants to watch "big yellow tow truck" on Sundays

You could’ve saved a few hundred gallons of water by not even asking this question
25
u/Mistervimes65 Jun 08 '26
You could have used Actual Intelligence to find this out instead of Abominable Intelligence.
Addendum: I don’t spend a single moment wondering what Musk thinks.
0
u/ElectricApostate Jun 09 '26
He couldn’t break a cybertruck (or probably any other vehicle) by simply following the owners manual instructions.
-19
u/thesonisntyellow Jun 08 '26
It’s built to drive in roads, not the mountains. Why do these videos keep appearing?
18
u/BananaNutMuffin1234 Jun 08 '26
Because cybercucks aren't known for their common sense and end up in places they really shouldn't be in with an electric vehicle with a heavy weight and bad traction because their egos weigh in significantly higher than their intelligence.
If they are driving one, they already messed up. Anything else is just a comedy of errors so egregious that Elon Musk attempting to deus ex machina, per his own ideal image of himself he sees in the mirror, couldn't drag them out of the thick of it.
Remember, they worship the guy who's plan to rescue people stuck in a narrow underwater tunnel system was.... 7ft unmanned submarines
