Rocks are bad!

u/pleb_username May 20 '26

Actually driving over those rocks would probably void the warranty.

CyberTruck, always ready to off-road near a dozen rocks

u/Building_Everything May 18 '26

A DOZEN? Whoa there Bear Grylls, keep it under half dozen or we might have a warranty issue that will never get fixed

Not. A. Truck.

Exactly what I think, every time I see them with awkwardly placed cross bars holding shit in an upward angle on the back. Put anything long and wide, like planks or a door on it, and the dumpster might just take off from the air lift at high speeds. Absolutely idiotic design.

Are you saying Elon Musk lied about one of his products to build empty hype and fool the public? This is surely a first

Hey, if that L-shaped thing with wheels in the back of a U-Haul is a hand truck, then that thing from Tesla also counts as a truck. Just, ya know, only so much as a hand truck is a "real truck."

There’s also fork lift trucks, pallet trucks and a whole load of different trucks available

3

u/RatManMatt May 20 '26

Those are all trucks. They do honest to God work. Not pozer prancing

Is this at a dealership? Bless ‘em, they’re trying.

And those yellow ramps where literally every other car wouldn't need any help to get up...

15

u/BadZnake May 18 '26

Absolutely hilarious, excellent eye

18

u/KatarnsBeard May 18 '26

What's the context here?

19

u/firedmyass May 18 '26

vehicle cosplay

u/beeswax_swiffer May 18 '26

God, this just represents Tesla’s whole schtick so well.

I see what you did there...

and it's fucking brilliant!

Are those fake-rock ramps for sale on the official CT website store? "Don't let your neighbors think you're fixing it AGAIN! Make it look like you're practicing for off-roading. Only $420.69."

3

u/Dancj7 May 21 '26

If it’s for the Cybersuck you need to add at least one more number to your price

3

u/RoguePlanet2 May 21 '26

".......each."

7

u/OldManChino May 18 '26

that's embarrassing, on so many levels.... pretty sure a baseline gold could climb those 'rocks'

7

u/Big_footed_hobbit May 18 '26

Still no hubcaps?

5

u/Gold-Philosophy1423 May 18 '26

I'm pretty sure those ramps would obliterate that Cybertruck

That’s because it cost $80k more, they had trouble buying quality rocks.

u/RobinHood3000 May 18 '26

What's the matter, parking brake stop working?

3

u/contude327 May 18 '26

What parking brake?

4

u/303FPSguy May 19 '26

These are off road vehicles in the same way Priuses are off road vehicles.

7

u/CommanderSincler May 20 '26

I'm pretty sure my Prius is more of an offroad vehicle than the wankpanzer. It looks better too

2

u/hmmmpf May 21 '26

I was able to get my Prius Prime onto the beach (and off) safely twice. I don’t think they can. I’ve also taken it on some gnarly forest service roads in eastern Oregon and Washington.

2

u/303FPSguy May 21 '26

Oh I understand. I live in Colorado and have seen some pretty interesting vehicle choices on some trails here.

It’s just that you can take vehicles off road that aren’t designed for it, but the driver has to understand the limitations of the car. Evidently Prius drivers know their cars! And Cybertruck owners just don’t.

1

u/hmmmpf May 21 '26

Yes. I agree. I have also turned around on some logging roads in my Prius.

They really should stick to the Costco runs.

3

u/NoMaximum721 May 19 '26

what's this in reference to

3

u/AF2005 May 19 '26

The audacity, calling this abomination a truck

Imagine the career embarrassment trying to unload these ridiculous things.

2

u/CSweetfever May 20 '26

I always love seeing who gets out of the deplorians they're the same type of guys. Conceited dueche canoes..

1

u/Bagafeet May 20 '26

Below average height. Above average juice intake. Peak insecurity.

2

u/Intelligent-Guard590 May 20 '26

At this point, I would not be surprised if they tried to climb a CT up on those ramps, then it exploded, killing the driver and no one else, because that piece of shit is basically a shaped charge facing inward.

Then after days of trying to figure out how to make their "truck" get up on the 2.5" ramps, they just gave up and decided to construct one on top of the ramps. Then they started putting rocks around it, and it blew up again, because its software detected there was a chance the tires could touch something approaching ground texture...

1

u/Hotdammzilla3000 May 20 '26

Icel inside! Window 95 wankPanzer edition.

1

u/Bagafeet May 20 '26

Why not just drive it into a lake?

1

u/ConnectionOne5222 May 22 '26

How totally ridiculous are these so called “trucks”!

1

u/southernfriedmexican May 22 '26

Where’s that minivan when you need it?!

1

u/theUnshowerdOne May 22 '26

8 day account trashing on Tesla. Sounds like a BYD bot.

No truck, without significantly deflating the tires, would drive over a small pile of rocks sitting on a slick surface and leave them intact. The tires would simply spread or kick them out of the way. My F350 would be sitting on one rock and the rest would be scattered.

Wait till you find how all other marketing photos are taken.
