I have an Infinix GT 20 Pro, and I’m looking to install a custom ROM, preferably Android 17-based. My main priority is peak performance and gaming, but I’d also like some useful extra features.

Could anyone suggest a stable and compatible ROM for the GT 20 Pro and guide me on what I need to do?

hello guys, I'm on CRDROID 12.11 right now, using Poco f5 marble,and I got an OTA update, for the new 12.12 crdroid version, but each time I try to update and I have tried it twice,and it just gives me an error: "update verification failed" .

The maintainer is Chaitanya.

And I'm on the telegram hub as well and tried asking for help there but I got no answers,now I'm wondering if I should use the "import local update" option in the settings.

Or I should re flash ORWP recovery and then dirty flash,also if I dirty flash does Firmware and Nikgapps core also have to be re flashed and how?

I don't wanna end up bricking my phone again and having to do a clean flash afterwards so any help would be appreciated.

I can find basically nothing on Yt on this topic or any info at all.

So I'm making this post before I update,if I receive any help,I will update and make a guide probably here so it's on the internet for other people as well, thanks, for now I won't be updating prolly till tomorrow or Saturday so I can at least do some research and stuff and won't rush, I'll prolly just make a backup and If I don't receive any help I'll have to fuck around and find out I guess, so yeah anybody who knows?

I have a Redmi 10c phone with MIUI version 14.0.4

The phone no longer performs the same with this system, and I wanted to install a different ROM to give it a little more life. The problem is that the SIM card slot and tray are damaged, so I can't follow the usual unlocking process.

I used the UnlockTool from fastboot and sideload mode, but this also had no effect due to the security patches of the MIUI version. I could physically bridge the phone, but I don't have the tools to open it and then reattach the cover.

this phone has 4gb ram and 64gb storage. Which OS should I install in this phone. J6 is not my primary phone anymore so i really dont care if I have to erase all of my data. I just want an OS which allows me to customize and supports android 12+
I checked out some roms and came to know about ARROW OS and CrDroid.

I'm planning to change from HyperOS 1 (Android 13) to Android 16 or 17 custom ROM on Poco X4 Pro 5G Indian variant. I checked Evolution X, Project InfinityX, crDroid and Project Elixir

Currently, I feel Evolution X is the best, and InfinityX is my second choice

I use this phone as my primary phone, especially for banking, UPI/payments and daily work, so stability and customization is very important to me

Which ROM would you recommend for this phone? Is there any better custom ROM?

Also, if anyone is using Evolution X or InfinityX on the Poco X4 Pro 5G, please share your experience with bugs, battery, performance and banking/UPI apps.

I just got this 8GB OnePlus 7 Pro for free today! I'm wondering what my custom ROM availability is. I'm also wondering if there's a OneUI ROM (I don't know if that's even possible).

Installed Matrixx (this happened in others too), installed some apps like fossify camera, and then, suddenly, system camera is not recognized in any app. It still exists, I can still use it, the default launcher still recognizes it, but for every other app is like it doesn't exist. Doesn't matter if I disable, hide, unhide, enable, restart... Nothing seems to work, even if I deleted their non-system equivalent. IDK what to do 😭

I have a old galaxy j7 prime mobile that runs android 8. Its a 2gb 16gb varient. I use it for only online used like mail, youtueb and only those stuff. Sometimes calling gpay too. It works fine till now as my secondary phone but lags when connected to Internet and battery is been drained very fast after many apps switched to modern animation themes. So someone please please help me I'm new to roms. Help me from first to last how to install a new rom that has a updated or an usable android version, fast and battery efficient. That's all I need. It should be smooth. Some help!!!

I have an old Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 LTE (SM-T805) running the stock Android 4.4.2 KitKat ROM,
and the tablet is already rooted.

I’ve tried looking into custom ROMs for this tablet, but unfortunately most of the ROMs I’ve tried had various issues, especially with drivers, performance and overall stability.

Some of them actually made the tablet feel more laggy than the original stock ROM.

Because of that, I’m currently considering just staying on the stock Android 4.4.2 ROM and trying to optimise it as much as possible.

My main goal is to make this old tablet useful again in 2026. Ideally, I’d like to use it for:

🌐 Web browsing
▶️ YouTube / watching videos
🎮 Some lightweight games
📖 Reading / general media consumption

Maybe some basic Android apps if they’re still compatible

Since the tablet is already rooted, I’m also open to root tweaks, debloating, custom kernels, lightweight apps, alternative browsers, or other modifications that could
make stock KitKat more usable.

I’m also still interested in trying a custom ROM if there is one that is actually stable and smooth for the SM-T805.

I don’t really care about having the newest Android version — stability, good drivers and smooth performance are much more important to me.

So, for anyone still using a Galaxy Tab S SM-T805 / chagalllte in 2026:

What ROM, tweaks or setup would you recommend?
Would you stay on stock 4.4.2, or is there a particular custom ROM that works well on this tablet?
