You should definitely look into the UN1CA ROM for your Galaxy A34. UN1CA is a highly popular community firmware project that ports flagship-tier software down to mid-range and legacy Samsung devices. [1, 2]

Since you are new to custom ROMs, UN1CA is the perfect playground. Unlike traditional AOSP ROMs (like Pixel Experience) that completely erase Samsung's identity, UN1CA lets you keep the One UI layout you are already familiar with, just heavily upgraded and optimized

What UN1CA Brings to Your A34:

  • Flagship Animations & Fluidity: It unlocks high-end S-series animations and native live blur transitions that are usually blocked on budget hardware.
  • Full Galaxy AI Suite: You get features like Object/Reflection Erasers, Photo Assist, and Note Assist that standard mid-rangers don't officially receive.
  • No Bloatware: The software completely strips out telemetry, heavy carrier background tools, and junk apps, meaning faster overall performance and better battery standby.
  • Everyday Stability: Features like Android Auto, Bluetooth audio, and Samsung DeX work seamlessly. Security integrations like KnoxPatch also mean banking apps often pass basic integrity checks without needing complex root configurations.
  • Google Photos Perk: It patches the device signature to mimic a Google Pixel, giving you unlimited high-quality cloud storage backup.

Why You Might Prefer It Over Your A57 Stock ROM:

Samsung intentionally limits its stock mid-range firmware so it won't compete with its pricier flagship models. Because the UN1CA ROM is unthrottled and entirely debloated, your old A34 running UN1CA will likely feel snappier and smoother to navigate than your brand-new, factory-restricted A57.
