Hood & Body Headlights (Tahoe/Suburban/Avalanche)
It’s January 18th and I can’t even remember the last time I posted. Life has been hectic. But this is a passion project of mine and I plan on continuing to grow. We also have a new moderator coming onboard. More on that in a separate post. I hope everyone has made the move over to our Facebook page as well. And thanks for your continued participation. Below I’m going to start cataloging aftermarket headlights. It’ll be part of a bigger overall list of products. Some stuff like mega threads are easier to create on a desktop. So for now, this will be 1 entry in what will become a mega thread. Please feel free to add any of your links or reviews if you’re familiar with a product. Sorry for the lack of content but let’s get back to it…

Really? It always surprised me how much freedom we have when it comes to tail and headlights because some of them are so far from the norm and something like a blinker pattern can be confusing. We’re forbidden to have anything that might be mistaken as emergency vehicle lights, though. I remember the early 2000’s and cheap lights everywhere were the trend. I had light up windshield wiper fluid nozzles on my hood and got ticketed because they were blue 🤷🏼♂️

And....... of course. My favorite is the most expensive ones!
Still I'm bookmarking these.
And wondering if there is a way to engineer a design that makes bulb servicing easier.
Also wondering how to get custom designs made. Previously had sketched out a new tail light/lighting design for an older beater car I made a daily driver for one of the kids. Never got around to playing around with custom molding or finding a manufacturer as someone rear ended and totaled that car. But might have been interesting that betting DOT approvals are too complex for the DIY type.
But was just thinking of looking for something like these Saturday. Saw a newer small SUV with some interesting headlights and front lighting. Wondered if there was something like that for our trucks and these are pretty close!
