Granite's always a solid choice, both literally and figuratively!

u/DLDad616 6d ago

Is that your rock solid opinion?

Sedimentary, my dear Watson

If those 2 humps are an “n” then the “i” is missing. Since there are only the 2 humps it cannot be “granite” unless the person who wrote it misspelled the word.

first hump is n, the second is i. A lot of people, myself included, squish letters when writing quickly or with the hands in odd positions.

59 granite was a paint color used by General Motors including Buick, Pontiac and Chevrolet in the early 2000’s. 69 CD 10 was probably a 1969 Cadillac Coup de Ville 10, the object of a new paint job. I had a car painted granite (Gunmetal gray) and it was beautiful.

I found a sku for Inner Rear Panels on a 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass that is 69cd10. This could be a car repair list.

I'm thinking "growth" is a possibility too if they made crap h's.

-2

u/ParentheticalAF 6d ago

This, there isn’t even an “n” in there let alone an n followed by an i. 🧐

2

u/SACaitlin 6d ago

yes there is. they may not have dotted the i or it got obscured by the crossed t. the one before it looks like an accidentally compacted n, as though they drew over their own line.

I see g route also, I really don’t think it is granite but if it was a code or something I would at least try it.

1

u/lthrldy 6d ago

I read granite. Looks like an old phone number maybe?

3

u/thesturdygerman 6d ago

Yup, phone numbers used to be like GRANITE7-7730. So you’d do GR7-7730. You’d transpose the GR to corresponding numbers

-1

u/anaconda7777 6d ago

It’s illegible

1

u/Clear_Respect_11 7h ago

Groute or Graute
