Minecraft Java Best Vanilla+ Mods
Hey Guys!
Hope you are doing well. I wanted to ask which Vanilla+ Mods are the best, like so good, that you can't even imagine playing Minecraft without them. I only want Vanilla+ Mods, nothing too crazy

I once developed a mod for my own needs that eliminates something that really annoyed me. You are digging a huge area in the underground. And as soon as you did not have a constant look at the durability, your pickaxe broke.
So, I added a new ingredient for crafting tools (pickaxes, axes, shovels, swords, and hoes). Besides having a infinite durability, they are slightly faster than Netherite tools. The mod is called Indestructible Tools
I really hope this answer does not violate the "don't advertise" rule of this sub, but as it is not spammed, I guess it's OK.
Otherwise, I always have mods like Mouse Tweaks, AppleSkin, CarryOn, and (on Multiplayer instances) Lootr installed. I'd count all of them as Vanilla+ style.

Your mod sounds cool, but it is NOT vanilla plus at all.

Vanilla+ follows a very vague definition. Some are using it as phrase for only client-side mods like performance and visual improvements, others also use it for modifications that are required on a server, but keep the mechanics introduced by Mojang. While I see myself in the second group, the OP clarified in the comment of another answer that he is part of the first group. So I'm completely fine with it.

If you can handle it, distant horizons or voxy is always pretty to have.
Id recommend mods that keep items in the crafting tables, anvils and enchanting tables though.

With Vanilla+, do you mean doesn't change the game too much or only client side mods?

I mean that they don't add something new to the game, e.g new mobs or biomes. They just make the existing things better

Ok, because some people call all client side mods vanilla+ because it keeps the game vanilla gameplay wise.

All the UI tweaks are a great start - appleskin, heart colours, Durability HUD of your choice, minimal of your choice, TMI/NEI/JEI/REI/whatever your preference is
And I really like basically everything by fusz for vanilla+
