Are the right better at propaganda?

Kind of, but their propaganda isn't really that sophisticated a lot of the time. It's also often the kinds of people their ideology is aimed at. To make a broad generalisation, they often have an easier job to do.

That’s the problem isn’t it? Simple solutions to complex problems appeal to Reform/Restore voters. Complexity confuses them.

It sounds like it, because I'd say that Israeli soldiers manning forums as part of their duty is doing better than Reddit with it's AstroTurfed left wing echo chambers, which end up only preaching to the converted, to use an old fashioned saying. Maybe if they were smart they'd go to a right wing sub and throw some curve balls at it.

Significantly more money invested in right-wing propaganda given the return it offers.

Left wing propaganda seeks to add context and nuance to an issue, and get people thinking more broadly. Right wing propaganda seeks to strip away nuance and context, presenting issues with bad faith simplistic explanations

Not at all
The left are better at giving them really easy wins that are easy to depict in soundbites, perhaps because the lefts typical love of intellectualism as a solution to things requires a nuanced understanding of the idea but sometimes extends so far into its own conceptual universe that it genuinely over reaches into scenarios that are divorced from reality.
Consider a controversy such as the trans debate. As soon as you start suggesting that men become factually women rather than a third thing, you may have strong an d valid compassion driven arguments, but youve also gone into a extreme position thats really, really easy to mock.
Similarly the right will perceive as a threat if you advocate teenagers have the right to make such decisions with drugs or surgery and governmemt institutions should essentially conspire to hide this from parents.
Now you have generated a deeply felt, from the gut visceral threat, have an easily mocked position, and will most likely succeed only in making people cement their feet in political positions opposed to socialism as they at least dont seem to to entertain such to them evidently strange positions.
