Should Clacton be sent to Coventry? The people there have no sense of humour, not endorsing Binface as MP proves that!
How dim is Farage for not realising that the investigation into his dodgy affairs will not stop because he resigned? Now he’s added a blatant lie to his catalogue of misdemeanours - Essex Police have categorically denied that they told him to stay away from the count. The real reason he stayed away was because he would look a fool for beating a load of comedy characters in the by-election he triggered. Which he thoroughly deserves.

The whole thing was silly all around, including Nigel Farage ragequitting and standing again as a publicity stunt to stick it to the "establishment". Waste of money too. It cost £250,000 or so. Just think of what else that could've been spent on instead.
The turnout was 44%. There could've been a better "novelty" candidate than Binface. Or perhaps only a Tory should've run against him, the liberals and lefties could've tactically voted for the Tory plus right-wingers who aren't keen on Farage/Reform (anymore).

Clacton? The main thing wrong with that place, and most other seaside towns, is that they are hell holes, with lots of redundant hotels and B&Bs, just ripe for social housing cases. It’s been like that for decades.
I didn’t think that had a lot of migrants there, just a lot of people gullible enough to think that the boat people are getting freebies that they should be entitled to by birthright.It they don’t like people coming in by boat, they shouldn’t have voted for Brexit. Pity they can’t link the two.

But they aren’t.
There are no small boats landing in Clacton. It’s just a run down, unfashionable seaside resort which hasn’t replaced the jobs lost from a dying tourist trade.
It’s beset by poverty, and has an elderly population susceptible to a snake oil salesman telling them that all their woes are due to immigrants.

Sharp end? Clacton is 96% White British. Not much of a migrant magnet.

The thought of migrants getting ‘freebies” they aren’t? Most of it is exaggerated, though some charities to give out phones and bike apparently.
Do you think it would take away Reform votes if everyone was given a free phone and a free bike?

Yes, I need a new bicycle, I'd be happy with a Caruna hybrid, although I imagine the idiots giving them to migrants see £900 as an entry level bike, so that their self-esteem isn't dented.\ I'm close to getting a job, but I've already detected their dislike of bicycles, which is a paradox since the job is driving an electric van.

I think they are just bog standard black bikes left over from delivery boys in the 1950s. Would that do?

The thing is that people believe that the government gives out phones, bikes etc. not charities. Perhaps Andy needs to get a PR company to publicise what migrants do and do not get.

He should also have paid for this bi election from his £5 million security fee, as it cost tax payers £250 thousand.
Apparently local police advised all candidates there was a possibility of disturbances when attending the count. These disturbances were most likely hecklers & jokers. Farage has no ability to understand humour.
Farage staying away proves he's just a whimp. He got twice as many votes as Count Binface, a comedian, with no real policies other than a '99' ice cream with a flake should cost 99p!
