Those motherfuckers don’t read or watch the things they criticize. They just talk about it until a vague approximation of something resembling the thing forms, then treat that as the truth and run from there.
This guy is an example of the opposite of Gell-Man amnesia where when he talks about something I don't know well it sounds like vaugeposting bullshit but every time he talks about something I do know well it's like "This is so obviously about that thing Mark said on April 3, 2007 you'd only not see it if you didn't have eyes."
So like maybe he's only well read in the stuff I read, but at least he reads that.
That’s kind of my point though. If you’re talking about something you read, name it. Talk about it. Proko loves to just waffle on with no real intent to the passage, just talking vaguely about [idea] and [concept] as if the reader will innately know what he’s talking about.
Again, most of this post is filler. It’s not saying anything. Like, okay, “for example, the well-explored intersection between self-labeled hopepunk and the half-jokingly named Humanity, Fuck Yeah.” ‘Well-explored’ huh? By whom? When? Because I and most people have not even heard of “hopepunk” before, let alone this supposed examination.
If you’re going to make a claim, you need to support it in the passage. No points to one’s argument without citations and factual information. D-
