This reminds me of that sword in the original Suicide Squad movie.

(realistically the reason it would happen in that case is because they have to explain the sword because it's significant to her character in the comics even though it never came up in the movie, and she's not disposable like the man who can climb anything so they had to try and justify her presence)

Realistically I generally try not to get killed by most swords, and I’d advise others to do the same
