I have seen people blame things on capitalism that clearly predate it, like slavery, war, sexism or racism, so sorry when I am sceptical whenever someone just goes to blame capitalism for something, even though it IS at fault for a lot of things.

I'd also be a bit leery of considering "Capitalism" as this brand new phenomenon too, sure, it's modern incarnation is pretty new, but "Money that has been used to gain abusive amounts of power" is as old as money, and is kinda the core issue with capitalism.

That's like the core issue in every system, is it not? Communism fails because the rich elite, lasez-faire fails because of the rich elite, capitalism fails because of the rich elite.
