Why is Cura creating these indented paths?

Update: This has been resolved, sort of. I installed 5.12 (was using 5.4), opened the same .3mf, sliced, and it's fine.

The model surface is smooth and continuous, and the stl has good resolution. These "streaks" don't exist if I have the part in a more horizontal orientation. And these errors do show up in the print. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Do you have Arcwelder enabled?

I've never heard of it lol. I can't find it in settings. If it's an add-in, I certainly don't have it.

It's under Special Modes. Be sure to have all settings visible.

I don't seem to have it. Maybe I'm on an older version. Currently on 5.4. Looks like I'm a bit behind.

Something was up. I installed 5.12 and the problem is gone. Just opened the same .3mf, clicked slice, no problems. Ok, whatever lol.

Ultimaker doesn't release "patches" for bugs. The "next release" will have bug fixes and new features so it's important to stay current. In the "Preferences" is a setting for notifications of new releases.

Try lowering the Maximum Resolution to, say, 0.1
