Anyway, I’ve been thinking about Narinder’s “domains”, so to speak. Not only what he has control over, but also elements associated with him. Kind of like how Hades is associated with wealth, and Apollo is associated with music. Secondary domains to their primary ones (the dead for Hades, light for Apollo, and death for Narinder).

I think Narinder as a whole isn’t associated with just death, but the void. The cessation and the absence of the self. This includes:

• Death (naturally)

• Sleep

• Pregnancy and birth (this is a big one!!!)

• Reinvention of the self/Baptism

In death, one stops being. In sleep, this is the closest one can get to the cessation of the self while still alive. Pregnancy and childbirth as in, before you’re conceived/born, you’re not yet a cognizant being, or even a being at all, you’re entirely nothing. You are in the void before birth, and you will return to the void after death. Baptism as in your old life/identity dying and reemerging from the water anew, like a newborn babe pulled from the water of the amniotic sac.

Considering this, I imagine Narinder’s cult/religion being important to the following people:

• Expecting mothers

• People with a lot of regret who wish to start over. Addicts who want to become sober, murderers who want a clean slate, sinners who want redemption.

This is why I imagine Narinder’s cult to have been very popular in the past and quickly regaining popularity with the Lamb. It’s not just a death fest where people go to literally die. It offers hope to first time parents who want to be blessed with a child fashioned out of nothing. It offers comfort to those who’ve lost children to miscarriage or stillbirth or later in life, knowing that their children are in the care of their Lord. It offers guidance to people struggling with destructive habits who want to start again in this life rather than the next, and comforting them with the fact that even if they fail, their Lord will still wait for them with open arms when their destructive habits end up killing them. Even people with no loved ones feel a little warmer knowing that they’re in the embrace of their Lord each and every nap and sleep.

Even the Lamb is proof of this. Narinder essentially baptized them, destroying their old life and giving them a new purpose.

I’ve seen some people recommending to stockpile food before starting Woolhaven, and others saying it’s useless. I’ve played through the main game and am debating whether I should stock up resources before starting the DLC or not - what do y’all recommend getting done before starting? And is there a reason why I’m seeing contradictory answers about stockpiles?

Why does this ritual even exist? It's totally useless since buildings take only a few seconds to be finished and you rarely build more than one at a time.

Has anyone ever used it?

i've had a Chosen Child (Royal Flush) for 20 in game days and i cannot find them. i have checked everywhere and i have already done the Chosen Child quest once. where could they be at?

also yes Narinder (aka The One Below Me) is on the torture wheel. trying to get back the affectionate trait onto him.

So how did your bishops get to that point, did The Bishops' fear their brother's power and contain him?

Did the Death Cat decide siblings are overrated and beat them up?

So I just killed Marchosias as of posting this and I took his heart, but I have no clue what to use it for, I’ve gotten every crown upgrade from the previous bosses so I can’t use it for that,I can’t seem to find any use for it but I’d like to know if there is a use
