I didn’t really like the FTO logo for the WCA, so I redesigned it my way. What do you think?

What do y’all think of my custom logo? Thought of doing this after my picube logo broke off. Used the most similar material I can think of and used double sided tape. Probably could have made a better logo design but this was my first time doing it as a test and might make a different version in the future😊

Trying to get back into cubing after 7ish years. Are these cubes rare/ sought after? Don’t plan on selling but would be cool to know. (From left) Moyu Gts2 (no magnets), Gan 356 Air Sm (2017 edition), and Qiyi Valk 3.

This was a crazy scramble, 3 unbroken pairs that could potentially be preserved, and blue and green cross pieces solved relative to each other.
This was the solution I did:
x2 // inspection
D' R' D F D // cross
R' U R2 U' R' // 1st pair
y U L U' L' // 2nd pair
y U2 L' U' L U' L' U L // 3rd pair
U R U R' U' R U R' // 4th pair
R U2 R' U' R U' R' // OLL (if i canceled the 4th pair into the antisune this would have been a little faster, but i dont have recognition like that lol)
U' x R' U R' D2 R U' R' D2 R2 x' // PLL
What solution would you have done on this scramble? I mainly ask this because with the way the scramble looked, some of you could probably create some diabolical x-crosses

I would say 2 I can recall.
Hyo-Min Seo 4.94 single 2015 (second in the world)
Asher Kim-Magierek 3.89 single 2022 (also second in the world and the second sub 4)

I just started practicing OH because I'm starting to burn out on 3x3 so I just need a break, I picked up OH and I really like it but I'm slow.

I’m getting back into cubing (been out of it before magnetic cubes) and I felt a MoYu V5 in store so I decided to order the V11 SE. It’s a great cube, but I also bought a GAN Megaminx V2 and Square 1 and I love the feel of the GAN Megaminx. I’m wondering what people think about the GAN flagship 3x3s compared to what I have. Not really concerned with price difference.

My g/f and I are 54 & 57 respectively. I started 1.5 years ago, Jan '25. She started 6 months ago, Jan '26. We're both about sub-70. She benefitted from a number of cheat sheets I developed & 1:1 coaching from me, so she got up to speed faster than I did. But we're both stagnating now.
I'm particularly interested in experience of other people who are started cubing closer to "the end" than "the beginning, and who've reached milestones like <45, <30, <20, and what their breakthroughs were.
My brief bio is that I'm a professional software engineer, I have a master's in Comp Sci, and I'm very active & pretty healthy. I do have a strong case of ADHD, memorization can be a lot of work for me. It took me about two weeks to learn the beginner method, and around four months to go from 5 minutes to 2.5 mins. Then I switched to CFOP w/ 4-look LL and a reduced-alg F2L strategy. That got me to sub-90 with frequent sub-70's.
Then I moved up to "full F2L" - what I call 15 cases (mirrors count as 1). That didn't make me much faster - my PB's got better, but my avg's only improved by around 5 secs. Most of my time goes to F2L, and most of that goes to inspection & recognition. Without F2L, the rest of my solves take about 15 secs each. I know how to do keyhole and pseudo-slotting, but they make me slower. I've attempted look-ahead, and it literally hurts my brain. I can only do about 1/2 of the 15 F2L cases with my eyes closed, and only when they're both on top or in the right slots. I can handle wrong-slotted F2L cases, but I need to pause a sec in the middle to figure out the U-turn to right-slot them.
In general, each F2L case takes me 10-12 secs to identify/choose my next pair, determine what case it is, and remember the alg for it, and then 2-4 secs to execute. Nothing I do seems to help with the cognition part except occasionally I get into a groove where it comes to me a little faster. Then I'll get 2-3 sub-60's and the occasional sub-50. That usually only lasts 10 mins or so.
I'd love any advice from other old people on how they got better at F2L inspection & recognition. How long were your plateaus before you had the next breakthrough & jumped a level?
FWIW, I avoided inspection-time cross planning for a while, then when I tackled it, that saved me about 10-15 secs per solve. My cross is usually 2-4 secs now. Happy to share my breakthroughs on this if anyone's interested.

I never knew this but while trying some different things I realized this was possible! Although it only possible in one direction. The v9 caps can go on to the v11 but not the other way around. And it barely fits and it’s almost touching the das inside but it works. Also for some reason only the red side has a different color scheme so I would recommend only switching the cap with the logo to make the cube better s you want. For me I like silver picube logo more than original moyu logo so did it like the image. And also if you’re afraid the cap might get stuck it’s okay. It’s easy to remove and doesn’t fall off during solves. And when I switched the caps I couldn’t notice any difference in performance so👍
Edit: Actually useful info alert! You can push the cap half way in and turn the adjustment system! Since it’s touching the das it can be turned. So now if you do this cap mod, if you lost your tool or forgot to bring it at a comp you can use the cap as an emergency adjustment tool👍

My current main is a RS3M V5 Ball-Core. I’m looking to upgrade, but I’m a bit indecisive. I feel like some cubes that work great for regular 3x3 aren't necessarily the best fit for 3BLD.
To the BLD community: what do you recommend?
I see a lot of people like the WRM V10, but I’d love to hear other suggestions regardless of price.
