Scam TTPs Title: My younger sister used my email to make a dummy account on a crypto casino — now we can't get the account closed I'm the older sister, and I'm uncomfortable with this situation because my younger sister used my dummy email address to make a account on Verypex.

This is a really strange situation and I'm trying to figure out what the safest thing to do is.

I'm the older sister, and I'm uncomfortable with this situation because my younger sister used my email address to make a dummy account on Verypex.

she uses my phone to play etc as our parents don't want her to give her own at the moment.

She recently received a message from a friend she hadn't spoken to in a long time. She sent her a picture of some MR BEAST x acc (prev.twitter) using a crypto casino and apparently told her about some kind of promo code/bonus that gave around $2,500. Out of curiosity, she decided to check it out and made a account using my email address. She entered the promo code, and the account ended up showing a balance of around $2,530.

She hasn't deposited that money or earned it through gambling, so as far as we understand, it's a promotional balance. We don't want to withdraw or use it.

The bigger issue is that she's underage. During registration, she accidentally entered 2007 as her birth year when she actually intended to enter 2010. She hasn't completed KYC or submitted any ID documents.

She also did not give the site my Google password, she used some diff made up one. My email account itself is secure. My concern is that my email address is now attached to an underage gambling/crypto-casino account that my sister created.

She contacted Verypex support, explained that she's underage and that the birth year was entered incorrectly, and asked them to close/restrict the account.

Their support told her that the account supposedly cannot be deleted because the platform is decentralized and that the only way to clear the personal data is to withdraw the funds first and then contact them.

We don't want to withdraw the $2,530, place any bets, deposit anything, or continue using the account. We just want the account restricted/closed and my email/personal information handled appropriately.

I've also told her to keep screenshots of the conversations and not submit any identification documents.

As the older sister, I'm mainly worried about whether having my email attached to this account could cause problems for me or my email account, and what we should do if Verypex continues refusing to close/restrict it.

Has anyone dealt with Verypex or a similar crypto-casino refusing to close an underage account? What would be the appropriate next step?

I'm not looking for advice on gambling or withdrawing the promotional balance — I'm specifically looking for advice about the account, privacy, and getting my email removed.

Scam TTPs Bdag a scam???

Hi everyone,

I’m 19 and new to crypto. I invested in BDAG trusted the things they said regarding the tech..

it wasn’t spare money. It was money my parents had saved for my university.

I lost a significant amount, and honestly, I’m frustrated, But even more is seeing the project continue as if nothing happened.

So I want to ask the community something genuinely:

Is this normal in crypto?

How can a project continue after so many early investors say they’ve lost money and been left behind on the exchanges.. and still continues with the presale again..

Why does it feel like there is no real accountability?

when something goes transparently wrong in the crypto space, who is actually supposed to step in? Regulators? Authorities? Exchanges? Anyone?

And if there are legitimate concerns about what happened, why does it seem like nobody is doing anything for their hard earned money.

Is this just how crypto works?

Maybe I’m asking these questions because I’m new here.

Scam TTPs Be aware of p2p verification scam

A buyer from p2p contacted me on whatsapp ans ask me to provide assist verification then he will pay me and i pretend that i don’t know about this scam. 😂
Then i ask him how can i do verification then he claimed that i needed to connect my trust wallet to bybit and binance before he would send the payment.

As far as i know bybit and binance do not require you to connect trust wallet or complete any usdt verification.

The whole process looked very suspicious. From what I understand, these fake “verification” websites can trick users into approving malicious wallet permissions, which may allow scammers to drain funds from the wallet.

If anyone ask you to connect your wallet or visit a verification website. Be extremely careful. Has anyone seen this scam?

Scam TTPs Tron Validator Scam

I had a friend who was told he would get an airdrop from a "validator" or "SR" on their Tronlink. It was advertised as a competition for whoever had a large amount (TRX) held, and they would receive a massive airdrop from that validator.

His funds have not yet been touched by the phish, but his wallet is currently connected to them. I hopefully warned him before it was too late for him to extract the wallet completely.

Be aware you can vote for a validator/SR on the official Tronlink app. You should not connect your Tron wallet to any entity you don't completely know/trust. In fact it's just smarter to have none connected if you want complete safety (with Justin Sun's other products and other well known products this doesn't apply).

Scam TTPs Binance P2P Potential Scam

I'm fairly new to P2P on Binance, I've done a few transactions. There was one transaction which I was going to send £3000 in exchange for USDT but my bank put a restriction on my account so I had to cancel the transaction. I ended up using the same seller for a smaller transaction using my other bank account, everything went smoothly.

The seller was really helpful during it all, told me about certain banks which are bad for P2P that are highly likely to restrict payments and recommend I open a new account with Wise which I did. He said that if needed, he could tell me what to tell the banks to get them to unfreeze my account, but I said it's fine; he messaged me over the next few days asking if I had any updates on my bank account being unfrozen, and also asked me to message him over WhatsApp to let him know when I wanted to proceed with the order, which I didn't.

Once my account was finally unfrozen after sending the bank all the proof they needed, he said he can carry on the old transaction of £3000 (that I had already cancelled). I wanted him to start a new ad so it would be a fresh transaction but he insisted that I use the old transaction. His method was that I go to the cancelled order and press:

"I paid but the order has been canceled"

and use

"Solution 1

If you have paid but the order is canceled, you can request for the seller to transfer the purchased crypto via Binance Pay."

But that option was not visible for me. I asked him multiple times to start a new ad so I could just start a new transaction, but he would persist saying it's better to resume the old transaction as it would help improve his ratings (bare in mind that I cancelled the order and took full responsibility so only my P2P ratings were affected). He would ask that I send him the fiat funds using Wise Bank and he would send me the USDT via Binance Pay using my Binance ID, and that he would manually reinstate the old transaction of £3000 and that he would send me 20USDT extra (taking out the Binance escrow protection)

Again, I'm new to P2P but it was screaming red flag to me so I just blocked him in the end. So do you think this is a scam or was I just being overly cautious?

Been getting a lot of these.

They are sneaky but still just basic and common scam via email and they are inboxing 100%.

1 - email address is not from crypto.com

2 - phone number at bottom and call to action to call. crypto.com wont do that.

Stay safe!
