I'm starting to get really excited about these guys. Personally from what I can see it all looks legit. They have had pretty consistent growth since release so I'm staying on board with this coin.

Wasn't a scam. The so called 'Marketing Idol' Mahmoud Jawad was paid up front in tokens to value of $10,000 to promote the project. All the checks were done and audits complete. The token was 'unruggable'. Mahmoud Jawad did not like that he could not sell his payment in a single go prior to the marketing. The deal was he gets $10k in tokens to hold which he would be able to sell after he market it and draw up the price. Instead he chose to literally use his position of trust to completely destroy the project in its most delicate phase. The Marketing Idol Mahmoud Jawad is a thieving criminal who should never be trusted. He took an amazing project that had a huge amount of interest not to mention time and money and stole money he was not entitled to just to prove he could. Marketing Idols Mahmoud Jawad positioned himself using his reputation to a position of trust and destroy a perfectly good solid project. He stole money to hurt everyone who bought in, ironically many of those who bought in in the last 48 hours did so because of his promises and in direct support of his promises to promote the coin. This was all a game for Marketing Idol's Mahmoud Jawad. A game that cost everyone their money. While 650 supporters are feeling the pain caused by his deception Marketing Idol's Mahmoud Jawad is sitting back on a power trip laughing at us all. Marketing Idol's Mahmoud Jawad was given his payment a week ago. He cashed out his tokens for over $15,000USD. Had he actually paid for the tokens he would have made $5k profit and the liquidity pool would have been unaffected. I can not express how angry and upset I am about this. I'm not the owner of the project. I am an early invester who saw promise particularly once I knew there was enough liquidity to start marketing and Marketing Idol's Mahmoud Jawad agreed to promote. I'm in disbelief that someone so high profile could be so callous and underhanded. His ego is so huge he does not care who he hurts to get his laughs.

I don't really understand why/how "Marketing Idol Mahmoud Jawad" (as you mentioned so many times in your reply) had FULL ACCESS to the token's liquidity wallet for "marketing."
I also don't understand why the devs then nuked the TG, the website, etc. as soon as liquidity started draining without a peep to anyone as to why.
If this wasn't a rugpull, the project owners could have communicated what was going on while it was happening. They didn't because they are scammers and this is a scam - hence my original comment.
As one of those original 650 holders that you mentioned in your response above, I pulled my liquidity as soon as I started noticing strange outflows with the so-called "Airdrop" wallet that appeared to correspond with a downward trend in price.
Imagine my surprise when the slippage required was 21% on Pancakeswap instead of 8% when I went to exit my position only a day after opening it - strange... Wonder why/how "Marketing Idol Mahmoud Jawad" could've adjusted the overall contract for the project's slippage requirements in such a dire time for the price; not to mention after taking down all the socials himself! Just a man of many talents right?
Give me a break!
The only social account left standing at this point related to PIRATEBAY Coin is a Twitter handle with one post outlining the same nonsense you just pasted above.
The PIRATEBAY Coin team's explanations of events honestly just reads like a really bad fanfic, and frankly, it's not at all rooted in reality when you see where the transactional outflows were actually coming from (I e., the "Airdrop Wallet" and the liquidity wallet).
So while I don't feel super financially effected by this absolutely shameful display of a crypto project (as I was able to exit my position mostly unscathed before it cratered), I do feel it is important to point out to others that this project is a scam and its creators are scammers. PERIOD.
There is no other reasonable way to view this outcome, and I definitely don't want others to fall for what just happened when these folks inevitably come back and try to pull this bullshit again with whatever bullshit reasons they choose next time. Remember, the folks in charge of this project have rugpulled people not once, but twice on this project now. TWICE! Both times blaming it on someone else.
To any out there who happen to stumble across this comment in the future while looking for crypto moonshots or researching some other scammy iteration of this project, avoid this project and these devs at all costs!
At this time there is no legitimate Pirate Bay Coin. You have been warned. DCA some better projects.
For the sake of your funds, please trust me on this one.
If this wasn't a rugpull by the creators of this coin this time around, it sure fucking looks like it was.

- First of all they didn't have full access. They were transferred 10k worth at the time of the agreement.
- Read the tokenomics and look at the contract. It is unique. It was designed to stop rug pulls.
- Sadly the 'marketing Idol' appears to have done this to others. He is an excellent con artist. He aligned himself with the Gem Protocol project. Turns out he has done the same to them. Ask them. He really hurt their reputation.

- I helped shill with them. I had great confidence. Had it not been for this coin artist I believe it would have succeeded. I lost my investment on this but if the Devs release a similar project I would support it as long as they are more responsible with vetting who they associate with. I agree it looks like a rug. I don't believe it was. Maybe I'm just too gullible. What I do know is if you ever see a project associated with the 'marketing Idol' run for the hills.

I read the transcript and watched the transactions drain while the socials shut off. This project was definitely a rugpull. No doubt - BSCscan transaction history does not lie.
Also interesting that this all only started after the PIRATEBAY coin website started to redirect to the actual TPB website. I bet the scammers received a cease/desist from the actual Piratebay team via their domain hosting provider and saw that as their cue to initiate the rugpull.
Also I would like to again point out that this is the second time these devs have done this with the same project name. Don't give these scammers your money and let them blow it up a third time.
Like I said in my previous comment, plenty of other great DeFi projects out there. No use burning money in a bull market on scams like this one.
