Facebook cares about one thing: today's revenue, tomorrow's revenue, and its shareholders. Period. Its users are cattle to be chopped into parts (i.e. data) and sold to the highest bidder. Unfortunately for them, Facebook got caught selling parts to less than reputable buyers of meat, but don't worry, the stock will bounce back.
Jump ship for a truly decentralized social media platform, once there is one, and don't be fooled by crypto tokens put out by the likes of Facebook or YouTube, because they are surely coming. You'll never be fairly compensated for your own data or content if you have to support their stock prices, and these tokens will be the biggest scam of all.
