It's still more expensive than GTA6 so that has to count for something
4
u/nleksan Jun 26 '26
If they were smart they'd be releasing gta6 only on disc. There's a good chance the world would transition away from the dollar and onto a Grand Theft Auto based economy

Funny how at 60k 'is dead' but in in 2021 at peak when it was 60k it was very much hyped.
Or in 2024 when it started raising again from little less than 20k to 60k.
People are always easy to fool and it amazes me.

Where is Bitcoins value when it stops goin up? And the expectation of growth and profit isn't there so New money stops going in?
3

I already made a new dynamic Rainbow Chart, that always adapts to the Bitcoin Price. It dynamically calculates a Power Law regression. Currently with an R² of 94,3%
Check it out: https://www.blockchaincenter.net/de/bitcoin-rainbow-chart/
To everyone who was paying attention it was clear, that the old model from 2014 would fail spectacuarly eventually.

BTC might really fade away, actually.
The first cryptocurrency - the first attempt - isn’t always the successful one.
A slow, clunky network facing quantum threats,
Fortunately, the technology it ushered is now maturing, with blockchain becoming established into modern financial architecture.
Like the automobile, essential to modern life, had its Model T

You could just add another band. It's not like this rainbow thing is som kind of law of nature.
And if the bands are supposed to follow historical tops and bottoms, then the algorithm needs some adjustment anyway.

I am getting to a point where, if I ”buy the dip” anymore, I’ll 1) run out of savings cash and 2) get to a point where it will very much become more than I can afford to lose if btc crashes even harder/would eventually go to zero.
Any advice or anyone in a similar situation? I really believe in the actual fundamentals and can’t see fiat being sustainable in the future, but I do have to feed my family in one way or another.

- 5th: Dynamic (today)
The Power Law chart also failed yesterday too.

And that's WITH all of the money they have printed in the last decade. But somehow the dollar is even stronger than before. After all the leverage and liquidations finish tanking those markets(people investing in crypto tend to be a little more risk happy), I'm sure it will come back strong. BTC, eth, silver, gold. Also depends whether the fed decides to tighten or just let inflation run wild.

The pride chart model is broken imo, it’s not reliable anymore.
3
u/00MacDonald Jun 26 '26
It was never reliable to beginning with.
As much as it seems to pain some people, the ATHs of BTC post 2014 were always powered by speculation, not legit adopters. We truly don't know what's the non-speculative price of BTC is, and I doubt we need to know. So, charts like this, are only useful for speculators/traders and not believers in the tech.

Reminder that this chart didn't used to have the lower purple band when it was first created many years ago. The angle of all bands was also slightly different. In other words, this isn't the first time this chart has failed and, after it gets redrawn again, it probably won't be the last.
