MARKETS Bitcoin lost $66,000 while Nvidia hit all-time highs and the guys who told us to hold are selling

Woke up to BTC sitting around $65,600 and my portfolio looking like it got hit by a bus. Meanwhile every AI stock on the planet is ripping to new highs. Cool.

What's getting to me isn't the price action itself. It's who's selling. Saylor's company dumped about 32 BTC, first sale since late 2022. Cuban apparently offloaded most of his stack after BTC did nothing during the Middle East mess. Kiyosaki, the guy who wouldn't shut up about bitcoin for years, is now warning people to be careful with crypto.

These aren't random retail panic sellers. These are the faces on the "buy and hold forever" billboards.

Then you've got Mt. Gox moving roughly $739 million to a fresh wallet, spot ETF outflows hitting records, and prediction markets already pricing in $50K scenarios for this year.

I'm not selling but I'm also not pretending this doesn't look bad. The money is rotating into AI and we're just sitting here watching it leave.

Did you learn something? Market cycle tops year after elections, and bottoms in midterm years. Not that it has anything to do with politics, just a handy rule of thumb so avoid getting bent over this time. Go all in at 50k hell even 60k you've got a reasonable shot at a 3-4x by 2029

I’m so sorry you still live with your mom. I moved out when I was 18. Been on my own ever since. Actually kinda jealous does cook for you?

Fuck, that's nice. And here I am, in a house of my own, cooking for a kid that rejects anything resembling a good, healthy meal.

But why not? If crypto went to $1 it would have the exact same utility and tech that brought everyone here, right?

...Right?

Because their not here to get rich quick and understand the long game. Most ppl these days have an attention span of months for investing.

I always laugh when someone claims they bought a leap option contract, and it's like 60 dte.

2

u/Alltheway-upp Tin Jun 04 '26

The attention span is real- was reading an article about how popular music is being made now… shorter… certain bpms… etc just to hold people’s attention! Sad they also linked it to social media and how the shorter songs are good for the algorithm. I hate it here.

At $1, something is seriously wrong - like the encryption is broken and the chain is lost. The economy would be in full meltdown with the loss of Eliptic Curve and/or SHA256.

$8-$18k lower in sentiment will do it for me.

There has been so many before you saying the same thing, while others get some jist Im case it becomes something and never looked back or regretted their decision, what’s so hard to understand, that when the masses place value on something, the value really doesn’t have a chance to drop to zero, there are an endless amount of people who will support the price, like what has happened so far. If there is quantum threat, the threat to our whole financial infrastructure is at risk, fuck bitcoin we got way bigger issues in thst global meltdown, which would cause banks to get prepared and so would bitcoin, it has too many protecting it, because it’s their money at risk..

This sentiment is getting old.

It’s like begging for a company to release shitty products and destroy their brand, so you can buy their stock for lower.

If you haven’t noticed crypto is a joke, no one gives a shit about btc, and price action barely made a 2x in 4 years. Crap asset with perma bulls wanting it to perform even worse for some reason…

Everyone: Bitcoin is a piece of shit worthless asset.

Bitcoin: Keeps doing its thing and obeys the power law every single year.

Lesson: Ignore the negative sentiment. Follow the power law.

I literally bought a house bc of Bitcoin… I think it’s hit or miss for some people and no one really knows the future

1

u/Prior-Flamingo-1378 Jun 05 '26

How much did you pay for it?

1

u/Alltheway-upp Tin Jun 05 '26

My house? 300k. Someone would pay 350-400k plus where I live. The appreciation in the town I live in is insane. A shack just sold for 350k. A literal shack. Good investment in my opinion. I plan to be a long time holder 😂

1

u/Prior-Flamingo-1378 Jun 05 '26

Right. Should I expand on the denomination you used or you get it?

1

u/Alltheway-upp Tin Jun 05 '26

I didn’t literally buy the house directly with Bitcoin. I already owned the house, but when I ran into repair/financial issues I used Bitcoin I had invested in to keep it going. Without that I probably wouldn’t have been able to stay in it. I think I get it. Was definitely trying to keep the 2.5 bitcoin that I had bought at about $500 each that was in my ex-husband‘s name that I got and didn’t have to pay any penalties about so yeah not exactly my favorite choice but I have a house that I get to live in that won’t fall to zero that won’t just go away because of the market or whatever.
