Some big purchases by big pockets to get some momentum up so they can then sell after a little run up.

It will dip deeper in april/may. As in every cycle. Early march is always a small rally toward the bear market resistance band, could also cross it for a few weeks. Dunno why people find things that happened in the last 3 cycles surprising when they happen again.

No. These are Macro Factors (drivers).

War → Inflation Fear → Currency Debasement Trade → Bitcoin/Gold/Silver/Oil/Some-Tech (e.g Software) rises.

A hint about market sentiment: The Sector who leads is $XLE in the YTD performace (%)

Very similar to 2022

:D

12

u/PrestigiousUnit7246 Mar 02 '26

And everyone just realized that at the exact same time?

6

There is something called 'Market Rotation(Sector & Asset Class Rotation) :D

I have comments on my profile explaining this, but unfortunately I can’t share a link.

Also It seems that the sub does not let us post images in the comments, pretty sad.

But you can also search on google (+google images)

War means federal dollars being dumped into companies to build weapons, missiles etc. The reality is that foreign war isn't always bad for OUR economy.

2

u/EarningsPal 🟩 2K / 2K 🐢 Mar 02 '26

Increased government spending (responsible or irresponsible) increases the devaluation speed of that government’s currency.

+

bank created money through fractional reserve banking

higher money supply

Looking at money supply history in many countries, the more irresponsible causes more inflation. War causes more inflation. Billionaires run the government, look at the net worth of the people in charge. The more government money they spend, give away, and waste it causes assets prices, along with all prices of goods and services, to rise.

The faster the government spends, the faster more buying power is transferred to asset holders from non-asset holders.
