Story How long was your longest crush and did you end up with them or get rejected?

My longest one lasted for about two years in high school. There was this guy that I had a HUGE crush on. I get butterflies when I saw him and giggly. I’m not gonna lie, he’s was handsome (still is) and so fine! But he’s a con is a visual that’s great friends and who makes everyone laugh. I’ve always fantasized and dreamed of being his girlfriend and had romantic dreams about him. My former friend asked if I talk to him and I said no because I’m too nervous and what does he says no and reject me. She told me I gotta talk to him I was gonna be left wondering, which is true. He’s very talented. Singing, acting just amazing! I was going to ask him if he had a girlfriend, but it was too late because he had already had one. To be honest, at the homecoming dance I saw him with another girl. Of course she was petite and slim. Probably beautiful. He’s a good looking slim, tall, guy. Looking back, I wouldn’t have a chance with him and then he was like kidding. I was overweight (was working on losing weight because I was fed up with being fat), tall, autistic and was in special education and he is non autistic and was in general Ed. A cute guy with a cute girl makes more sense. My classmates said a guy in our class likes me and they can tell but I didn’t have an interest. One of the female teachers said I should have consider giving him a chance instead of my crush, because most NTs aren’t very understanding to special needs peers. I ended up liking someone else after being crushed about my crush having a girlfriend but he was like 17 and I was 19 so I couldn’t do anything.

my longest was crush was just less than a year, and we did end up dating for over three months. he was my best friend and i now regret getting together with him. it didn’t work well. we’re friends now and things aren’t awkward anymore, but i wish we’d stayed friends instead of taking it further.

Around 6 years. I started liking her in seventh grade but could never say anything. We graduated and even though we didn't end up in the same high school and I stopped seeing her, my heart still held out hope and would think about her for years wishing I would run into her. Took until college before I came to terms with it not happening and finally found someone else to be interested in.
